Seeking a BC Psychiatrist.

Position involves:-Adult inpatient and consultation-liaison psychiatry and supervision of ER evaluations-General adult outpatient clinical services-Child psychiatry-Adult day treatment and substance abuse treatment.-Will also provide court ordered forensic evaluations.-Call is mandatory, one week every fourth week.-Based in hospital approximately 50% of the time.-Travel to other facilities within Cattaraugus County, NY, approximately 50% of timeREQUIREMENTS-M.D and license to practice psychiatry in New York.-Board Certification.-Additional training such as an accredited fellowship and knowledge of Neuropsychological testing.-Candidate would need to have completed at least a general psychiatry residency program.H visa ok

Call coverage is second call with first line of response at registered nursing level 24/7.

Call is one in three monthly with average number of calls 2 5 per week.

Currently the Health Center site is partially under renovation to provide a discrete medical suite with three new exam rooms, a waiting room, secure check-in and check-out capabilities and a nursing station.

This expansion can support innovation through diverse use of the suite for private practice, specialty certification preferences or other physician practice interests.
