A well-established OBGYN group of 9 in Hartford, CT, seeks an additional OBGYN provider, as one of their more senior physicians will be
relocating.
Currently, 7 of the providers are taking call and they would like to maintain a call schedule of at least 1/7. Providers work 3 days a week in the
office and take call 1X weekly with post call day off.
They take call from home, and there is no office while on call. With a group average of 20-30 deliveries monthly, they are a much more
GYN-weighted group with a robust GYN population. They do a lot of office GYN, MIGS, and Robotics and have blocked OR time, which averages 3 days per month. Depending on the procedure, some of the providers will schedule surgeries on their call day.
They are a very family-oriented group, and work-life balance and flexibility are paramount. They are looking to add a physician who is kind,
pleasant, flexible, and a team player. They work out of 3 fully equipped offices and admit to a tertiary care facility in Hartford, with a level III
nursery, all sub-specialty services in-house, including residents. They have a great rapport with the hospital, and they have great succession
planning and already have physicians from the program starting summer 2026 and 2027. Most of the nurses at the hospital are their patients, and they have a great relationship with the nursing staff. This stable, well-established practice offers a competitive salary and benefits package,
including a signing bonus and a great vacation schedule (5 weeks to start and up to 8 as a partner). They are busy, but because they have such a nice schedule, it's not intense or stressful, and they enjoy working together as a team.
