POSITION SUMMARY:

The bid coordinator / estimating administrative assistant supports the Estimating Department by managing bid processes, tracking proposal timelines, and coordinating subcontractor outreach. Responsibilities include preparing bid documents, ensuring compliance with bid requirements, maintaining bid records, and facilitating bid-day logistics. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The estimating administrative assistant must have construction industry experience (general contractor experience preferred) and be proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore, SmartBid, and document management systems. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for coordinating with estimators, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive bid submissions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the Estimating team to facilitate the bid process, including preparation of required forms for bid and proposals, monitoring of timeline, management of bid and proposal dates and subcontractor coordination
• Manage approximately 5 – 10 bids and/or opportunities per month
• Assist with preparation of Statement of Qualifications, coordinating input from various sources
• Bid document processing and distribution, including plans, specifications and addenda
• Issue appropriate requests for bid to subcontractor
• Apply understanding of certain bid requirements including specific applicable government programs
• Recruit additional subcontractors to register/bid on projects
• Review bids and bidders for appropriate licensing and conformance with bid requirements
• Implement applicable document control and communication for bid team
• Maintain good subcontractor and community relationships
• Personal contact with subcontractors via phone and e-mail
• Maintain bid list, bid files and records for each project
• Distribute bid results
• Produce organized and comprehensive final bid file for presentation to clients and project teams
• Additional duties as needed by the company

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Experience in preconstruction, bidding, or proposals, with an understanding of construction plans
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact at all levels professionally
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to follow through reliably
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe; familiarity with Procore, SmartBid, and DocuSign preferred
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Tech-savvy; skilled in scheduling, data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to take on evolving responsibilities
• Commercial construction experience preferred; bid day/war room experience a plus

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

Minimum 5 years of proven administrative/clerical skills, with estimating/project coordinator-type experience related to the construction industry. Additional experience preferred. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Have two years of full-time religious leadership experience that's compatible with the duties of a Religious Ministry Professional (RMP) in their respective Religious Organizations (RO) and relevant to the settings of military chaplaincy
• Must be able to obtain an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a religious faith organization registered with the Department of War

• Provide advanced medical care and operational services for Marine Reconnaissance, USMC Special Operations Forces and Navy Special Operations Command personnel, like SWCC and SEALs
• Engage as a team member in direct action, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense and unconventional warfare

• Rescue patients and deliver emergency care from the back of a helicopter
• Perform aircrew duties and En Route Care (ERC) for routine illness and emergent patients
• Provide relief and assistance in areas ravaged by catastrophic natural disasters
• Support Search and Rescue (SAR), tactical evacuation (TECEVAC), Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC), casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) and Combat Search & Rescue (CSAR) for Navy and Marine Corps Aviation

• Provide basic medicine and assist medics in prevention and treatment of diving related illnesses, injuries associated with deep sea diving and hyperbaric conditions
• Operate, test and repair all Navy diving equipment
• Perform underwater inspections, harbor/port/ship security inspections, conduct ordnance searches, rescue personnel, engage in special warfare and small boat operations
• Operate Swimmer Delivery Vehicle Dry-Deck Shelter system and submarine Lock-in/Lock-out systems

• Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman Pipeline (121 weeks)
  Areas of training include but are not limited to basic reconnaissance, airborne operations, combatant diving, demolitions, clinical diagnostics, advanced trauma skills, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), basic surgical anesthesia, basic veterinary medicine and basic dental exams.
• Search and Rescue Medical Tech Pipeline (27 weeks)
  Areas of training include but are not limited to advanced fluid resuscitation, administration and management of Advanced Life Support medications, use of emergency medical equipment, rescue and recovery devices and patient handling.
• Medical Deep Sea Diving Tech Pipeline (28 weeks)
  Areas of training include but are not limited to diving physics, scuba and surface-supplied air diving, recognition and treatment of diving related illnesses.

What You’ll Do

• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures following sterile technique
• Operate fluoroscopy, C‑arm, PACS, and hemodynamic monitoring systems

Pay Range: $30.99 - $50.71 per hour

Position Purpose

The Respiratory Therapist shall be responsible for the administration of respiratory care offered by the Respiratory Care Department

What you will do

• ​Function clinically with a considerable amount of independent judgment regarding the delivery of quality patient care

• Serve as a technical resource person to the physicians and other health care workers, with regard to current practices in respiratory care

• Set up, operate and manage patient care on respiratory related equipment such as mechanical ventilators, NIPPV/CPAP, or High Flow Oxygen devices

• Manage patients on invasive mechanical ventilation modes (AC, PSV, PC, APRV, Bi-level)

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care, minimum of a two-year Associate's Degree

• Current State of CT Respiratory Care Practitioner License

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). 

• Thorough knowledge of the procedures and patient care techniques involved in the delivery of respiratory care
