Our client, a leading global company specializing in custom packaging solutions for the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, is seeking an Operations Manager for its Phoenix, AZ, location. The company focuses on designing and manufacturing high-quality packaging using advanced plastic manufacturing technology and stringent quality control measures.
Position Overview
Role: As the Operations Manager, you would be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of planning, scheduling, manufacturing, and shipping of all prototype and production thermoforming orders. You will manage all personnel in the performance of the thermoforming manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities and Functions:
- Lead daily manufacturing operations, balancing labor, materials, and equipment capacity to meet production and fulfillment targets.
- Drive process optimization initiatives to improve throughput, cycle time, yield, and overall operational efficiency.
- Supervise and develop front-line leadership, leads, and operators, including hiring, training, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Oversee plant inventory accuracy, raw material flow, warehouse operations, and parts/equipment procurement as needed.
- Monitor and maintain plant equipment performance, including understanding machine capabilities, downtime drivers, and preventive maintenance coordination.
- Implement and sustain quality assurance systems, supporting corrective and preventive action activities and adherence to company standards.
- Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), identify operational gaps, and resolve issues impacting productivity or delivery performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with supply chain, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to achieve overall business objectives.
- Support strategic operational planning by aligning daily activities, staffing models, scheduling, and workflow improvements with long-term organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Education:
- AS in Engineering, Business, or equivalent is preferred
Experience:
- Required: 5-7 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment

- Formal training in procedures, ISO 13485 standards

About the role:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering account-specific, customer-facing in Data Center projects. Key responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of account-specific in Data Center projects within data center environments.

Minium Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager leading complex, customer-facing projects in data centers, HVAC, mechanical systems, or similar technical environments.
- Strong working knowledge of In Row Cooling / Heat Exchanger systems and data center infrastructure.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and customer accounts simultaneously under aggressive timelines.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced technical understanding of data center cooling and thermal management solutions.

Project Management
