The Surgery Department staffs a 270-bed academic community hospital and designated ACS and State of Arizona Level I Adult Trauma/Level I Burn Center.
It is an urban teaching hospital with a fully accredited ACGME General Surgery Residency, and the Plastic Surgery Division also hosts resident rotators from the Mayo Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency.
Group is a faculty partner in the Creighton University Medical School educational alliance.
Its surgeons operate and round at a new hospital facility that opened in 2024.
Should be comfortable managing the full range of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery patients.
Expertise with Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular surgery is required.
