Job Description
Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services to empower children and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment. The agency, through its programs and services, encourages the inclusion of people with disabilities into the mainstream of society, including social, recreational, family and work activities.
This is a community-based Enrollment Specialist for our Pennsylvania Self Directed Program. The Enrollment Specialist will educate participants and their direct care workers on how to successfully enroll and utilize services under the Community HealthChoices Participant-Directed Services Program.
- $21 an hour
- 35 hours a week full time
- Monday - Friday
- 8:30am to 4:30pm
- Virtual interview and orientation
Essential Job Functions
- Accept and outreach to participant within 3 days of referral to determine how the packet will be delivered to the participant: mail, email or in person
- Provide in-person participant orientation within 15 days of referral
- Train participants and direct care workers the skills needed to enroll and manage this self-directed program
- Mandated Reporting
- Worker Safety Training
- Independent Living Philosophy
- Assist participant and direct care worker with enrollment
- Common Law Employer (CLE) enrollment paperwork including CLE Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with DCW enrollment paperwork
- DCW Pre-Service Orientation
- Unique ID
- Background check clearances
- Provide training on EVV and timesheet submission/approval process
- Attend in-service, supervision and staff development meetings when requested by manager
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of program policies and procedures and self-directed regulations
- Demonstrate a commitment to the Independent Living philosophy of consumer control
- Musty report all suspected incidents of fraud, waste, and abuse
- Track for receipt of required documentation within required timelines:
- Enrollment documentation
- Return all phone calls from participants and DCW within 24 hours
- Work within policies to complete and submit internal requirements:
- Contact Notes
- Dayforce, Outlook Schedule
- Mileage and Expense Forms
- Follow up on requests for additional skills training by the Fiscal Management Services (FMS):
- Non-billing, overbilling
- Major problems requiring skills training
- Participant status updates
- All other duties as assigned by the Skills Trainer Manager
Qualifications
- One year experience providing services for persons with disabilities
- Experience or education in teaching is helpful
- Knowledge of community resource that participants are involved with
- Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office/Outlook and the ability to navigate databases
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; GED or High School Diploma required

Position Overview:The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
Essential Job Functions:- Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist the physicians, nurses and other technical and administrative staff in meeting the needs of individual patients throughout the facility.
- Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment including but not limited to X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS
- Perform all imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws and ensure the physician on duty is notified of the results

Position Overview:The purpose of this position is to serve in the Registered Nurse and Director of Nursing capacity. Additionally, this position will provide support to leadership and create an atmosphere that provides continuity of quality patient care in the emergent hospital environment. Essential Job Functions:- Responsible for covering a minimum of three 12-hour clinical Registered Nurse shifts weekly per Hospital Administrator direction, to include:
- Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally/specialty appropriate nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills and for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients/families
- Proficiently and consistently complete accurate, concise and legible documentation on medical records
- Observe and record signs, symptoms and behaviors including the physiological status of patients
- Presents proposed revision of interventions and desired outcomes to the physician
- Maintain patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times
- Follow physician’s orders in the delivery of nursing care
- Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations
- Adhere to required infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques in the delivery of patient care
- Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures
- Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care given
- Assemble equipment and supply for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; performs or assists others with procedures or treatments. - This position will also serve in the capacity of the Director of Nursing, to include:
- Assists with all functional aspects of overseeing the hospital including Nursing, Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy, Respiratory, Patient Access and Dietary when Hospital Administrator is unavailable at the site or based on instruction from the HA.
- Supports senior leadership during facility inspections by licensing and accrediting agencies.
- Evaluates and addresses the educational needs of the market.
- Assists in the implementation of the quality management and reporting system.
- Assists with process improvement activities and corrective action plans in the facility.
- Assists with tracking any incidents to determine patient safety events; including administrative review of follow-up letters as required for serious events, and patient grievance follow-up in collaboration with the Patient Experience team.
- Assists with interim coverage of vacant or absent leadership positions within the region.
- Assists with ensuring all functional areas are fully staffed with continuous coverage; including
- Assists with new and continued education and following up with staff, including tracking of staff certifications and licenses.
- Assist the Hospital Administrator and Chief Nursing Officer in implementing policies and procedures of the hospital.
- The position can make recommendations to the Hospital Administrator on the selection and promotion of nursing personnel based on established job descriptions and individual qualifications and capabilities.
- Assists the Administrator-On-Call (AOC) with admission reviews
- Monitors facility quality indicators and supports development of resolution plans by working closely with regional and corporate functions such as safety and infection control.
- Complies with all established policies, procedures and protocols.
