As a Retail Inventory Specialist, you will perform detailed receiving, auditing, replenishing and destruction procedures as outlined by company policy and state regulation. In addition, the Inventory Specialist will maintain the physical organization of all product in a manner that will provide optimal efficiency and accountability within the dispensary.

Responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Accurately and efficiently receive all inbound product shipments.
  
• Enter all incoming product into Compliance and ERP Systems.
  
• Physically move product to locations throughout the facility, including the vault, back room, and sales floor.
  
• Maintain optimal organization and cleanliness of all inventory processing and storage areas.
  
• Perform and reconcile inventory cycle counts.
  
• Perform and reconcile various inventory and compliance related audits.
  
• Ensure sales floor is consistently replenished and properly stocked.
  
• Fulfills online pick-up and delivery orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  
• Prepare for and participate in all periodic physical inventory audits, as scheduled by the company.
  
• Provide efficient written and verbal communication of inventory issues to management and the store team in a timely manner.
  
• Utilize several software packages.
  
• Consistently remains compliant with all legal and/or company regulations for the industry.

• Manage vehicle registrations, IRP, and tax documentation through Holman Insights or internal systems.

Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise, train, and develop in-house mechanics and service personnel.
• Ensure shop operations meet company standards for quality, safety, and productivity.
• Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Budgeting & Financial Management

• Assist family companies in preparing annual budgets for fleet-related accounts, including repair and maintenance expenses, fleet related labor, fuel, and shop expenses.
• Monitor actual expenses against budget to ensure cost control and financial alignment.
• Provide insight and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and support capital planning for vehicle replacements.

Telematics & Driver Compliance

• Deliver Geotab training locally for drivers and fleet staff.
• Install and maintain Geotab GPS devices.
• Oversee CDL pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance.
• Monitor driver performance and vehicle utilization through telematics reporting.

Safety & Accident Management

• Investigate vehicle accidents and incidents.
• Provide safety training and manage corrective action follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Support root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fleet or equipment management.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance scheduling, diagnostics, and compliance programs.
• Familiarity with Geotab or similar telematics systems.
• CDL license or strong understanding of CDL compliance requirements preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.

The Operations Manager will oversee and optimize the transportation of goods in United States. This role requires expertise in cross-border logistics, regulatory compliance, and intermodal operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of 53’ domestic containers, ISO tankers, and FTL/LTL shipments.
• Coordinate dispatching, rail billing, ramp scheduling, equipment control, and last-mile deliveries.
• Monitor rail schedules, container ETAs, grounding, LFD, and gate-out activities in real time.
• Resolve rail ramp issues (holds, damage, improper interchange, customs flags).
• Act as primary operational contact for clients (LGE, LGES, Soulbrain, etc.).
• Provide daily tracking reports, delay notifications, and customer updates.
• Handle customer escalations, service recovery, and performance follow-ups.
• Ensure accuracy of B/L, arrival notices, invoices, PODs, T-3, AES filings (as applicable).
• Manage relationships with customers and vendors.
• Negotiate rates, monitor performance, and confirm service capacity.
• Oversee proper handoff between Chicago, Darwin, Laredo, Tacoma, Oakland, and other rail terminals.
• Review KPIs (on-time performance, rail dwell, trucking detention, billing accuracy).
• Implement operational SOPs and continuous process improvements.
• Report performance updates to senior management weekly and monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business
• 3+ years in intermodal operations, trucking dispatch, or rail logistics.
• Experience with UP/BNSF/CPKC/FXE operations and rail billing.
• Knowledge of cross-border operations is a plus (but not mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of North America intermodal network.
• Familiarity with TMS systems (BoxLinks, Caris, Magaya, etc.).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Problem-solving under time-sensitive conditions.
