The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts. The RN delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources. Registered nurses hired to this area will be cross trained to multiple programs within PHIDOM. Some telework may be available depending on practice needs. This RN position will provide nursing support to the various subdivisions of PHIDOM which may include but not limited to- the Travel Clinic/Immunization Clinic, the Outpatient Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) Clinic, Transportation (Aerospace/DOT), Immigration, and Preventative Medicine.

ย PHIDOM provides care for the following specialty patients:

  • Pilots, divers, and drivers needing medical certification
  • Physicians with complex medical conditions
  • Patients referred from specialty clinics requiring immunizations and audiograms
  • Immigration and refugee patients for medical certification
  • Workers Compensation referrals
  • Employees with complex injuries and medical conditions
  • Monitoring Infectious Disease patients following dismissal from the hospital by managing and addressing lab/culture results and protecting patient safety post-dismissal.ย 
  • Medical services for the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine students
  • Providing adult and pediatric patients with education and immunizations. Excellent communication, assessment and patient education skills are required.

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER DUTIES

POSITION SUMMARY

Jeremiah Program seeks a part-time Sr. Administrative Assistant (20 hours/week) to provide high-level administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Senior Executive Director (SED) of Residential Campuses, based in Rochester, MN. This role is a one-year commitment with the potential for continued growth and longer-term opportunities after the first year. This role supports the SED by driving alignment, efficiency, and clear communication across multiple sites.



The Sr. Administrative Assistant works closely with the assigned Senior Executive Director (SED) to manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings and initiatives, prepare reports and materials, and support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive & Administrative Support

  2. ยท Prepare and format briefing documents, slide decks, and reports (e.g., Board updates, campus support team feedback, and funder packets).
  3. ยท Maintain task lists, deadlines, and follow-up systems to ensure projects remain on track.
  4. ยท Support travel logistics, reimbursements, and credit card reconciliations.
  5. ยท Draft and proofread correspondence, memos, and internal communications.


Meeting & Coordination Support

  1. ยท Schedule and coordinate weekly and monthly meetings for campus and national teams.
  2. ยท Capture and distribute meeting notes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up.
  3. ยท Assist in preparing agendas, visual materials, and participant briefers.
  4. ยท Support hybrid and virtual meeting facilitation (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, shared documents).

Operations & Project Support

  1. ยท Assist with document management, file organization, and version tracking in SharePoint and shared drive systems.
  2. ยท Track key dates and deliverables for reporting cycles across campuses.

Communications & External Relations

Qualifications

Graduate of a nursing program, as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). ย One year of RN experience required. ย 

All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020, and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date.

All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date prior to April 1, 2020 must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program as stipulated by the degree requirement program in place at time of hire.

Additional Qualifications:

One year of professional RN experience required.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Experience working in a team environment. Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting. Demonstrated leadership, effective communicator, and excellent critical thinking skills.
