Summary: The Neuroscience team in the Northern Region, inclusive of HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston, NY and MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY, is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic APP, Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), to join our expanding service. In this exciting role, the APP will work alongside experienced physician colleagues managing patients with diverse neurologic disease processes in the inpatient setting. Responsibilities:
- Performing medical evaluations, treatment, follow-up and consultations for diverse neuroscience patients in the inpatient clinical setting.
- Delivering direct patient care as part of a collaborative patient care team.
- Gaining a working competency of clinical workflows, protocols, and applicable procedures necessary in the comprehensive approach in the care of neurology patients.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be board certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner and possess, or be able to obtain, an applicable license in New York.
- Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1-year experience, although highly motivated new graduates with interests and abilities in neuroscience will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
