EDUCATION:

Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. In good standing with the ARRT.  Holds a valid CT state license.  Advanced CT certification by the ARRT is required within 1 year of being hired into the position. CPR certified.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of three years of Radiology/CT experience is preferred. Experience with students in an accredited School of Radiology, techniques and equipment, as well as an awareness of current quality assurance practices. Key Responsibilities


Lesson Planning and Instruction



  • Study and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.

Assessment and Evaluation



  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations.
  • Provide timely feedback and support to help students improve.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.

Classroom Management



  • Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain a productive learning environment.

Communication and Collaboration



  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and behavioral issues.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student success.
