Crisis Intervention Specialist - Relief
Riverside is seeking a passionate Crisis Intervention Specialist (CIS) to join our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) team! This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team of dedicated behavioral health professionals!
The Crisis Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing advanced skills in trauma-informed crisis intervention and de-escalation, monitoring of the safety and security of the facility, and coordinating response to urgent and emergency situations. The CIS provides a therapeutic, calming, recovery-based, and pro-active presence in program. The CIS will assist leadership with safety drills, safety protocols, facility-related initiatives, may perform other person-served related support as interest and experience allows.
Note: CBHC regulations require “security” positions 24/7, this role is a therapeutic, engaging presence and not a typical security guard role.
The Crisis Intervention Specialist may perform other person-served related support as interest and experience allows including, but not limited to:
- Modeling and teaching skills for development of positive relationships and negotiation of conflict
- Providing a calming presence in and around the facility supporting families and youth in conflict or crisis while onsite, while monitoring the safety of persons served, employees, and the facility
- Assisting CBHC leadership in ensuring that safety drills (e.g. fire, medical, behavioral health) are held and documented as per regulation and that required fire protection and suppression equipment is present and in good working order and also ensuring the maintenance of program sites to minimize fire hazards
- Taking lead in ensuring maintenance and cleanliness of physical plant is adequate and reports to Senior Director and/or facilities are aware of any concerns.
- Responding to medical and psychiatric emergencies (e.g. opioid overdose or psychiatric symptom escalation) utilizing medical code protocols such as calling a code, administering naloxone, and administering CPR/first aid
- Assisting with transportation to/from CBHC and the CCS site using agency or personal vehicle
Pay Rate: $25.46/hourly

Recovery Coach - Connect2Recovery
The primary responsibility of a recovery coach is to support the voices and choices of the people they help, removing obstacles to recovery, linking Members to a recovery community, and serve as a personal guide and mentor. The recovery coach will work with the individual to develop a Wellness Plan that orients the activities of the recovery coach's service.
The recovery coach will be a part of a larger team of other recovery coaches and case managers but will also be an active interdisciplinary member of the Outpatient Center’s track of specialty clinicians, supervisors, and prescribers who serve people with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. The recovery coach will provide education to persons engaged in services but may also utilize their own recovery experience and knowledge with the entire treatment team.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

Job Summary
Point32Health is looking for a dynamic Vendor Manager to drive strategy and execution for our ancillary and supplemental benefit partners. This is an opportunity for significant ownership and accountability for an important lever for our organization. This person will be partnering with a cross section of key stakeholders to help execute our long-term strategy to create a top tier member experience while driving down costs. The ideal candidate is a seasoned contracting leader who has a track record of working collaboratively both internally and externally to negotiate, execute, and performance manage contracts and relationships.The Provider Vendor Manager supports sourcing, contract execution, and performance management for key vendor partners, including but not limited to Dental, Vision, Durable Medical, Transportation, Hearing, and other Medicare supplemental benefits. The Manager of Vendor Oversight is responsible for relationship management with assigned ancillary providers/vendors, as well as the contractual performance and maintenance of the vendor to ensure compliance, performance, and accurate payment. Builds relationships with internal vendor business owners across all lines of business.
Job Description
Strategy & Product Development
- Contractual performance and oversight. Work with internal business partners in the management of vendor Service Level Agreements and Performance Guarantees. This includes receiving vendor reports, arranging and attending Joint Operating meetings, reviewing, and documenting vendor performance and assessing corrective actions where applicable.
- Collaborate with internal and external business partners on the collection, analysis, and maintenance of relevant data.
- Strategy and development - Support the development of plans and operational solutions to address changes to vendor programs on an annual basis.
Vendor Contracting
- Work with finance and internal business owners to analyze ROI of various vendors.
- In partnership with Product Leaders, evaluate, negotiate, and recommend changes to new and existing contracts to best support P32H stakeholders.
- Responsible for the project management of contract implementations and renegotiation functions, from pre-contracting to activation, according to pre-determined internal guidelines and financial standards, while ensuring a smooth transition of services for members
Vendor Implementation & Management
- Assist in new vendor delegation implementation or de-delegation.
- Assist with management of Material Subcontractors.
- Vendor relationship management process including building, nurturing, and maintaining positive working relationships between P32H and its Vendors.
- Ensure contract requirements are adhered to, including language, terms, and reimbursement requirements.
- Ensure vendors obtain and maintain compliance with any P32H and or regulatory requirements.
- Act as resource for internal teams when consultant, business associate and nondisclosure agreements or other information to support Compliance are required.
- Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the vendor oversight process.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

Education
- Required (minimum): Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.

Experience
- Required (minimum): A minimum of 5-7 years' experience Managed Care, preferably at a Health Plan, in a network/procurement/compliance/regulatory/legal/product/operations/marketing or project management role. A minimum of 2 years' experience managing vendor relationships at either a Health Plan or Vendor
- Preferred: 7+ years of relevant health plan experience
Skill Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to conduct negotiations. Familiarity with contract terms preferred.

Respite Counselor
In this exciting role, the Respite Counselor will work as part of a team in this acute care residence. The Respite Counselor will provide guidance, education, supervision, and direct supports to allow consumers to maintain their physical and emotional health, live safely in the community and develop the skills necessary to return to independent living. Respite Clinician
The Respite Clinician is primarily responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments inclusive of the use of standardized assessment tools for suicide risk, brief crisis counseling, individualized risk management/safety planning, psychoeducation, discharge planning, and care coordination. Triage Clinician - Norwood MCI - 2nd shift
We have a great opportunity to join our mobile crisis intervention team in Norwood. You will be able to work in a supportive small team atmosphere while also working as part of a larger organization that is a leader within the mental health care industry.
The Triage Clinician works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team devoted to crisis intervention and stabilization. The Triage Clinician assists MCI clinicians by triaging cases to determine the most appropriate location for an intervention to occur, with priority for community-based, non-hospital locations. The master’s level Triage Clinician is an integral part of Community Behavioral Health Center’s Mobile Crisis Intervention program and collaborates with other MCI clinicians to provide crisis intervention services 7 days per week, 24 hours per day either on-site or mobile to any individual experiencing a mental health and/or substance abuse problem.
Orientation to Mobile Crisis Intervention is provided, with particular attention to diagnosis, safety assessment and awareness of resources dependent on level of care.
Clinical supervision is provided including licensure track hours for eligible employee. Riverside also offers an outstanding staff training program offering CEUs
The triage clinician will also be responsible for:
- Serves as the primary responder to all incoming calls to MCI, and using clinical and administrative judgment appropriately triages the call
- Arranges for assessments to occur on site or in the community and organizes for transportation as needed
- Secures placements in detox units, inpatient units and diversionary levels of care and coordinates the transfer of those served to these facilities
- Assessing mental health and substance use presentations in order to more appropriately triage cases with a great deal of independence.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing office environment while collaborating and liaising with a variety of stakeholders and providers
- Assists in providing telephonic support to individuals in crisis while also assessing the need for a clinical intervention.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
- Sunday through Thursday: 3pm to 11pm OR 4pm to 12am
Pay Rate:
- Unlicensed Clinician - $35.69/hr
- Independent Licensure - $38.25/hr
- Stacking differentials available too! Additional hourly rate of $1 for 2nd shift - evenings, $2 for 3rd shift - overnights, and $1 for weekend shifts.

Job Summary
The Director of Contracting is responsible for contract strategy, development, negotiation, and implementation for hospitals, physician groups, and integrated delivery systems across multiple markets and products. The Director will lead a team who negotiates contracts including risk arrangements to enable high performing provider networks that support goals for membership growth, quality, and financial performance. Provider Network Strategy and Development
- Develop provider networks to meet goals for access, membership, quality, medical cost, and earnings. Build and maintain high performing provider networks utilizing risk-based structures and incentives whenever possible. Identify and recommend changes to networks as needed to advance business goals.
- Collaborate with VP and President to develop network strategies, risk sharing and payment models, and performance incentives to support achievement of cost and quality goals.
- Stay abreast of trends and changes in the industry, provider landscape, and federal and state payment policies and methodologies. Utilize this knowledge to refine and advance network development and performance.
Contract Negotiation and Management
- Direct a team of contract managers to negotiate financial, operational, regulatory, and legal contract parameters with physician groups, ACOs, and hospitals to meet business goals and regulatory timelines.
- Coach, support, and train staff to devise proposals, strategies, and options for contract negotiation. Support contract negotiation as needed.
- Devise strategy, lead and negotiate agreements with largest provider systems.
- Develop and maintain optimal provider networks. Assess, monitor, and manage network adequacy to meet federal and state regulations. Proactively identify and close network gaps.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Allied Health Contracting to ensure allied health and BH/SA networks and payment terms support Medicare division needs and goals. Assess and monitor allied payment rates and recommend changes to methodology and rates to align incentives and manage expense trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Enterprise Network Operations to ensure timely and accurate contract implementation, configuration, and accurate ongoing contract administration.
Strategic Relationship Management
- Develop and implement a proactive relationship management approach that supports long-term, mutually successful relationships with strategic providers.
- Engage with the provider performance team to understand and monitor provider and network performance. Advise on performance improvement plans and identify contract strategies and incentives that support performance improvement.
- Collaborate with operations, professional relations, and other functions to identify and resolve provider issues.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Proactively communicate and engage with function leaders and key stakeholders. Participate in/chair leadership meetings concerning provider strategy, network development and other issues.
Talent Management and Team Building
- Provide ongoing staff development and coaching in negotiation, performance analysis, and relationship management to enable a high-performing team of provider professionals.

- Perform telephonic member outreach and/or face-to-face encounter utilizing key motivational interviewing skills to facilitate program enrollment. Through assessment and collaboration with member/caregiver and providers, develop a member-specific plan of care, implement member-specific care manager interventions, and revise plan of care as needed. Complete documentation in applicable platform according to departmental policy and regulatory standards.
- Provide targeted health education, proactive strategies for condition management, and communication with key providers and vendors actively involved in the member's care.
- Collaborate with member/caregiver and the facility care team to coordinate a safe transition to the next level of care, which includes but is not limited to ensure understanding post-hospital discharge instructions, facilitate needed services and follow-up, and implement strategies to prevent re-admission.
- Collaborates and liaises with the interdisciplinary care team, to improve member outcomes (i.e., Utilization Management, Medical Director, pharmacy, community health workers, dementia care specialists, wellness, and Behavioral Health CM). The Manager of Allied Health Contracting oversees a team of Contract Managers, Associate Contract Managers, or other staff as appropriate who oversee negotiating with allied health providers. This individual may be the lead on managing certain allied contracts and will assist team members during negotiations by providing oversight and assistance with the negotiations of financial and legal terms. The Manager, Allied Health Contracting will work closely with the Director, Allied Health Contracting and Vice President as applicable on negotiation strategy development and execution. Additionally, this individual will work closely with contract management staff on the day-to-day negotiations and implementations to ensure smooth and timely transitions of key contract elements.Job Description

- Supervise and support contract management team's negotiations of contractual arrangements with established or potential network providers, within budgeted targets and regulatory requirements. Oversee and ensure accurate and complete analytic requests to support contract negotiations; oversee the development of contract documents. Participate as the lead in negotiations when appropriate and directly manage high cost, high volume contracts.
- Understand, with a high degree of specificity, important business aspects such as budget models, unit cost trend, and other analytics utilized by Point32Health to understand performance, financial or otherwise, of the allied provider network. Work closely with the contract management staff and legal department to ensure contract provisions are consistent across providers and ensure all applicable legal terms are included in the signed contract.
- Oversee the staff of Allied Health Contract Managers and Associate Contract Managers, providing coaching, feedback, and direction to allow team members to develop subject matter expertise and independently manage the ancillary service lines assigned to them
- Assist contract management staff and Director to develop Point32Health position on key issues relevant to the contract negotiation. Manage and position the negotiation so that Point32Health meets the key objectives that have been identified; communicate status of negotiations and document key financial and legal terms

Key Responsibilities/Duties - what you will be doing (top five):
- Develops and manages the 2-4-year product strategy for a set of product lines and/or geographic regions. Lead product- specific, cross-functional teams responsible for assessing/implementing new/revised or enhanced product designs and programs.
- Meet with internal and external stakeholders/customers including market teams, brokers, accounts, vendors, and government agencies to incorporate voice of the customer in product roadmap.
- Develop new products and features, product enhancements, line extensions, portfolio revisions, and product discontinuation as needed to achieve market position, membership goals, and profitability targets.
- Synthesize product line financial modeling and analysis into actionable tactics. Assess market and competitive positioning in support of expansion strategies.
- Monitor and report on-going performance of product portfolio(s) including profitability, customer satisfaction, membership growth/retention, and operational performance. Develop course correction proposals, as needed, based on metrics.
- Collaborate with other teams in the development of product collateral, marketing, and communications initiatives and in conducting internal and/or external trainings. Map and manage the customer experience.

Peer Specialists help to make Respite welcoming, comfortable, supportive, and responsive to individuals who utilize them and their families.
Using their personal experience and knowledge of navigating the greater system of care, Peer Specialists provide consumers with support, information, and assistance in connecting with and obtaining community-based resources and services.
In this vital role, the Peer Specialist will:
convey hope and provide psychoeducation, including information about recovery, rehabilitation, and crisis self-management
assist in arranging the services to which the individual is being referred after the MCI intervention, and they shall work with the person and family to support them during the transition to those follow-up services
provide similar services in the MCI service and Adult CCS as staffing and time permit
All Peer Specialist staff will receive training in recovery-focused peer support for Substance Use Disorders (SUD), who shall assist in interventions with individuals/families presenting in crisis due to substance use disorders. They will support explanation of the process to access services, availability of self-help resources, and provide follow-up for those who may or may not be ready to accept help at the time of initial contact.

Job Summary
The Director of Provider Partnerships Strategy plays a critical leadership role within the Provider Partnerships organization. Working closely with the Senior Vice President of Provider Partnerships, the Vice President of Provider Partnerships Strategy, the Provider Partnerships leadership team and Line of Business stakeholders, the Director of Provider Partnerships Strategy leads provider network strategic initiatives and their tactical execution, ensuring alignment with the Lines of Business and the organization's overall financial, operational, and clinical goals. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - what you will be doing (top five):
- Design and implement processes to support effective Provider Partnerships overall governance, including developing and executing multi-year department strategy, continuous alignment with the various lines of business, operational capacity planning/mapping, and management of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department
- Support the coordination and execution of enterprise processes, including and not limited to the Monthly Operations Review (MOR), Run the Business (RTB), Affordability of Care and Total Cost of Care process improvement efforts, Finance reviews & reforecasting, Contract Executive Committee as well as the CMPO/CPC Annual Planning process and Board of Directors meetings
- Proactively identify and oversee the development of analyses, models, and tools to offer an informed view of provider, network, and contract performance
- In collaboration with System and Ancillary Contracting leadership, formulate and execute on strategies to improve unit cost, standardize reimbursement methodologies, and maintain competitive provider network
- Provide direction and define approach and parameters for overall reimbursement strategy and payment methodologies, with the goal of standardization, optimization, and transparency. Oversee development of provider rates in line with negotiated terms
- Oversee the submission of regulatory submissions and requests
- Monitor, analyze and report on competitive position for all applicable Point32Health markets
- Produce accurate and timely reporting on network access and adequacy, ensuring standards are maintained and gaps are appropriately addressed
- Provide on-going leadership and program/project management support for foundational and strategic initiatives
- Design communications for and support executive-level presentation by the SVP of Provider Partnerships

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Manager of Mechanical and Electrical Operations, the Facilities Engineering Technician (HVAC) will assist with all appropriate support tasks related to facility operations, with emphasis on building HVAC and other mechanical systems, including mission critical data center environments. Will be a part of the planning and implementation of various construction, repair, and maintenance projects as well as daily tasks. This position requires a professional licensure in the HVAC services trade.Job Description
Key Responsibilities/Duties - what you will be doing (top five):
- Functions as a Facilities HVAC Technician, performing necessary maintenance and repair to base-building mechanical systems at Point32health's corporate facility and remote office locations.
- Responsible for the efficient and continuous operation of all Data Center HVAC and related control systems, as well as developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical systems.
- Oversees outsourced trades people in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems.
- Maintains all necessary records consistent with mandated record keeping requirements for all mechanical systems at all Point32health sites.
- Operates PC based direct digital control (DDC) systems. Performs calibration and repairs to these systems as necessary.
- Monitors Point32health's energy usage and recommends measures to reduce/optimize energy consumption. Assists in energy conservation projects.
- Manages relationships with one or more outside vendors, ensuring the highest standards of performance, best pricing, adherence to contractual obligations, and accurate invoicing. Keeps all contracts, insurance, and vendor's access to company facilities accurate and up to date.
- Troubleshoots maintenance problems, repairs, and maintains all HVAC and refrigeration systems, but also may also assist with lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems. Effects repairs that are within his/her scope of expertise and reports to Supervisor those requiring the services of an outside contractor.
- Completes daily work order requests for the above duties, responding to priority requests in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Monitors the condition of assigned lease areas, performs on-going maintenance tasks, and reports outstanding issues to supervisor.
- Closes-out assigned work requests promptly upon completion, including relevant information pertaining to work performed. Information to including but is not limited to: problems encountered, diagnosis, resolution, and additional work needed to complete task.

Employees must have the ability to use diagnostic and repair tools consistent with the practice of HVAC installation and repair, and to safely work with high voltage machinery and circuitry found in commercial HVAC equipment. The ability to read floor plans and electrical/mechanical diagrams is essential. Moderate computer skills are also required for Microsoft Office applications and Facilities Management software.

- Employee must be able to coordinate his/her work within a project team and work with junior maintenance personnel in daily activities. The position also requires good customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with department personnel, internal and external Point32health customers, consultants, and vendors.

This position may be a member of the Emergency Operations Team and will share responsibility for 24 x 7 responses to facilities related emergencies. Employee will be required to wear a company-supplied cell phone when he/she is on-call.
