About the Facility

Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to establish a new production facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. This 1 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art plant—set on over 200 acres—will feature a flexible production line capable of manufacturing both internal combustion and electric vehicles. Production will include the N-Series Gas, N-Series Electric, and F-Series Diesel trucks, with a targeted capacity of up to fifty thousand units by 2030. Operations are expected to launch in 2027, with expansion slated for 2028.


Strategically located near I-85, I-26, and the Port of Charleston, the site supports streamlined logistics and consolidated operations under one roof. This initiative is projected to create over 700 new jobs in the area.


What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems

As an Estimating Manager, this position is responsible and accountable for overseeing the full estimating lifecycle for projects of all sizes across the infrastructure, marine, heavy civil, and railroad sectors. The Construction Scheduler & BIM Modeler is a hybrid role responsible for integrating schedule development with model-based coordination to improve project predictability, sequencing, and execution. This position supports projects from preconstruction through closeout by combining Critical Path scheduling with BIM coordination, clash detection, and 4D planning.

This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Preconstruction, and trade partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, fully coordinated, and aligned with company standards for safety, quality, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities


Scheduling (CPM / Project Controls)

  • Develop and maintain baseline CPM schedules during preconstruction
  • Build detailed construction schedules including phasing and sequencing
  • Identify critical path activities and long-lead procurement items
  • Lead schedule coordination meetings with internal teams and subcontractors
  • Provide bi-weekly or monthly schedule updates
  • Develop recovery schedules when delays occur
  • Perform time impact analysis when needed
  • Create executive-level schedule reporting dashboards
  • Support claims documentation related to schedule impacts


BIM Modeling & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for coordination and planning
  • Perform clash detection and facilitate trade coordination meetings
  • Integrate schedule into model for 4D sequencing visualization
  • Support quantity takeoffs and model-based estimating
  • Produce coordination drawings and assist with shop drawing review
  • Maintain BIM standards and naming conventions
  • Assist field teams with model access and real-time updates
  • Support as-built modeling and closeout documentation


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of commercial construction experience
  • Proficiency in:
  • Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
  • Autodesk Revit
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Experience with healthcare or complex commercial coordination preferred
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the project planning process by analyzing costs and resources needed for construction projects. You’ll prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment — ensuring that every project is delivered on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:

-      Review project documents, drawings, and specifications to determine materials and labor needs

-      Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost calculations

-      Develop and maintain budget proposals and cost control measures

-     Proficiency in estimating software (Procore, Bluebeam, WinEst) and MS Office.

-     Knowledge of federal contracting regulations is a plus.
