  • Optional cases include Cardio Thoracic/Hearts (including OPEN HEARTS), Neuro Anesthesia, and Neonates.
  • Required cases include Tavers, Pacemakers, EP, and Cath Lab.
  • Perform duties within a designated Level Two Trauma Center environment.
  • Please note, the locum tenens Anesthetist will not perform Spinals, Epidurals, Nerve Blocks, Upper/Lower Blocks, or Fiber Optics; these procedures are conducted by the MDA.

This Physician will provide 1:4 direction, covering shifts from 7a to 3:30p between April 20 and April 24, with a scheduled day off on April 22. Responsibilities include a diverse range of cases such as General Surgery, Ortho, Healthy Peds, ENT, Vascular, Urology, and Podiatry.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 1:4 direction for cases.
  • Manage a variety of cases including General Surgery, Ortho, Healthy Peds, ENT, Vascular, Urology, and Podiatry.
  • This assignment does not include OB, plastics, or neuro cases.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
  • The EMR system utilized is Epic.

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Anesthesiology for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Dec 8, 2025. This role offers flexible scheduling with the option to work either 5x8 or 4x10 daytime shifts, including one weekend day per month with a compensatory day off.


Job Details

  • Provider Type Needed: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesiology

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care under the direction of the supervising anesthesiologist
  • Do not perform spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, or fiber optic procedures (these will be handled by the anesthesiologist)
  • Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care in accordance with established protocols
  • Collaborate with the anesthesia care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

  • Must hold a current NC license
  • No new graduates; prior relevant experience required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
