Job Description:
The Commercial Finance Legal Assistant will support a busy team of attorneys and associates within a commercial lending practice. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys with commercial finance transactions by preparing, editing, and organizing deal documents

• Track deal progress and follow up on outstanding items to ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate new matter intake procedures, including initiating conflict checks and preparing engagement documentation
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in transactions
• Maintain and organize documents using the firm’s document management system
• Manage attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, and arrange conference logistics and travel when needed
• Enter and review attorney time entries, assist with billing documentation, and help prepare client invoices
• Process expense reports and maintain related administrative records
• Provide additional administrative coverage for other attorneys when needed
Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting attorneys in a Commercial Finance legal practice
• Experience assisting with transactional documentation and deal coordination
• Familiarity with legal billing processes, document management systems, and administrative legal support tasks
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Comfortable learning and navigating new legal technology platforms

The primary responsibility of this outreach role is the recruitment of undergraduate freshman students to Saint Xavier University.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Freshman Admission Counselor will meet with students in person, conduct on-campus admission presentations to groups of students/parents, and communicate with students and parents via phone, email, and mail to encourage enrollment. This professional will manage an assigned recruitment territory which will include travel to off-campus recruitment events as well as the evaluation of application files for admission decisions. Admission counselors use relational database software to manage recruitment activities and communications. A successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality student service in a fast-paced work environment, meet performance benchmarks, and build quality relationships with all constituencies within the Saint Xavier community, including faculty, staff, and campus partners, as well as high school counselors and administrators.
Qualifications
