RWJBarnabas Health (RWJBH) and Rutgers Health are seeking an experienced pediatric intensivist for the role of Director for the 10-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC) in Livingston, NJ. The partnership of RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers University has created the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey. The successful candidate will be expected to manage and develop the CBMC PICU clinical and academic programs and partner with the other critical care leaders to manage and integrate the service system-wide. They will work with the RWJBH System Medical Director of Pediatric Critical Care to accomplish these goals along with other Pediatric Service Line objectives. The right intensivist leader will join our 23 other intensivists who manage 54 PICU beds in a well-functioning group and will value camaraderie, adaptability and teamwork. - CBMC is the home of the Children’s Kidney Center that cares for the largest number of pediatric renal transplant recipients in the state. Our PICU is integral to the success of this program

- CBMC is the home for New Jersey’s Adult and Pediatric Burn ICU, staffed by burn experts

Position Overview
The Vice Chair of the Heart and Vascular Institute and Chief of Cardiology will play a pivotal role in advancing AtlantiCare’s mission to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care while aligning with Vision 2030. This dual leadership position will oversee the clinical, educational, and research activities within the cardiology division, fostering growth, innovation, and collaboration. Clinical Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in call rotations as part of the cardiology team.
- Lead and engage in multidisciplinary peer review processes to ensure clinical quality.
- Identify and implement strategies to reduce barriers to efficient and appropriate patient care.
- Minimize inappropriate use of non-invasive testing through evidence-based practices.

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
· M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
· Successful completion of fellowship program
· Board Eligibility/Certification by the appropriate Board and subspecialty board
· Have or the ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License
· The successful candidate will have a commitment to outstanding pediatric care.
· Subspecialty interest in a field such as epilepsy, neuromuscular, headache, neuro oncology, neuro genetics or movements disorders is highly desirable.

Requirements include:
· New Jersey Medical License required
· Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology
· Fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and advanced cardiac imaging
· Proven leadership and organizational skills
· Ability to work collaboratively within a group setting
· Experience with cardiac PET/CT, CTA, and MRI imaging including the ability to design and refine appropriate imaging protocols.
Responsibilities include:
