Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a US Consumer Relations Manager based in Londonderry, New Hampshire.


As a Consumer Relations Manager, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to leading the company's strategy and operations related to consumer feedback, complaints, inquiries and product experience insights. Oversight of the Lactalis USA Consumer Relations Contact Centers operations providing excellent consumer service and care. The CR Manager plans, implements and maintains operational standards and systems, performance objectives, budgets, and staffing. He/She is responsible for resolving consumer issues while representing the interests of both the consumer and the Lactalis USA divisions. Capturing and providing quality and actionable consumer complaint data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

The role includes implementation of Lactalis Group procedures . Additionally, the Consumer Relations Manager will collaborate with Industrial, Quality, Legal and Regulatory, Marketing and R&D to align duties with the company's goals and values.

Key responsibilities for this position include:


Call Center Operations

  • Review company policies and implement them effectively and efficiently
  • Develop and implement consumer service policies and procedures
  • Establish and oversee the achievement of consumer service levels/functional KPIs
  • Evaluate current CR tools, resources and system in place, prepare and implement a plan for improvement of the consumer call center service quality and efficiency
  • Liaise with company management to support and implement growth strategies
  • Lead consumer call center integration projects within the parent company network
  • Coordinate and manage consumer service projects and initiatives (e.g. satisfaction surveys)
  • Develop and manage budget and department expenses
  • Manage CR database and other CR tools (e.g. live chat and phone system). Work with external vendors and IS/IT to resolve system issues
  • Direct the daily operations of the consumer relations teams
  • Manage Cheese Division call center team in Chicago, including regular visits to the office to provide support
  • Plan, prioritize and delegate work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the department
  • Monitor industry best practices including AI and implement continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure product repositories are up to date and information is available for agents
  • Create training content to improve agent efficiency & soft skills

Consumer Contact Management

  • Oversee daily management of consumer inquiries, complaints, and feedback through phone, email, digital channels
  • Ensure timely, accurate, respectful, and brand aligned responses to all consumer contacts
  • Maintain Lactalis standards for response times and issue resolution
  • Monitor accuracy of the CR database and of consumer feedback reports
  • Partner with Legal and Regulatory Teams to handle complex and escalated consumer complaints for all Lactalis US divisions
  • Analyze and report product issues and consumer feedback trends for all the Lactalis US divisions
  • Oversee CR protocols for dealing with "consumer threats" and "product emergencies", working closely with all Lactalis US divisions Legal, Crisis Management, Quality Assurance, and Communications Leads
  • Oversee communications to consumers. Work closely with each Lactalis US division Quality Assurance, Marketing and Regulatory to prepare standard responses and product talking points, and update them on a regular basis
  • Attend and participate in business meetings, and contribute to work objectives
  • Support products, marketing programs and company initiatives. Understand and communicate product features and benefits, key business practices, and subjects at the heart of the company's mission
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Lactalis USA consumer call centers in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The Associate Manager, Portfolio Strategy & Planning will contribute to the strategic development, storytelling, commercialization and execution of retail initiatives across retail channels. This role will be the go-to headquarter partner for the Field Sales team - collaborating throughout the selling process to deliver the strongest, insight-driven narratives while working internally with Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Trade Planning and Finance to ensure optimal execution of priorities. Strategic Thought Leadership

  • Contribute to the development of the Stonyfield Sales Strategy, utilizing point of sale data, shopper insights and trends. Partner with the Field Sales team to tailor strategy across customers - prioritizing innovation based on assortment gaps, regional trends, and internal capabilities.
  • Manage Innovation Plan, working collaboratively with Marketing to ensure the right innovation is developed and shepherded through the commercialization process. Ensure critical sales deadlines are met without sacrificing the quality of the proposition.
  • Utilize category management skills to develop fact-based sales presentations employing brand research to include customer and consumer syndicated data such as AC Nielson, IRI, Spins. Incorporate this information into on-going planning and decision making for focus brand(s).
  • Collaborate with internal functions and customer teams to create innovative brand solutions to accelerate brand growth that address critical plan risks. Represent the voice of sales to the headquarter teams - ensure clear communication to the field sales team of changes in the plans and implications.

General Management & Executional Excellence

  • Partner with Demand Planning and Brand Marketing to contribute to the forecasting process for Stonyfield. Coordinate the brand Risks & Opportunities, develop communication and action plan. Partner with the customer strategy team to ensure that accepted item volumes, reset timings, and promotions are all accurately reflected in monthly demand plan.
  • Enable connectivity between field sales team and brand team, ensuring appropriate focus on priorities, adherence to brand guidelines and Topline partnership from concept to launch.
  • Partner with Finance and Brand Marketing to develop project P&Ls; lead development and communication of recommendations based on financial analysis, project rationale and operational feasibility.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager US Comanufacturing, is an active member of the Purchasing Team North America (NA), participates in sharing purchasing excellence and strategies, supporting teamwork, joint learning and development initiatives. The incumbent will lead the North American sourcing strategy initiatives for an assigned Category. Under the guidance of the Associate Director procurement - US Comanufacturing, will assist in the execution of a supply strategy for managing Lactalis' US Comanufacturing network and will provide local support to Yogurt Business units across USA and Canada . This position will be expected to provide a high level of service and support for internal stakeholders by developing a deep understanding of affiliate business needs, providing detailed analysis of spend data and financial results, playing a key role in supplier relationship and performance management, and by providing necessary support for new product innovation and supply chain sustainability. This position will also be responsible for ensuring connectivity between Lactalis Yogurt business units' functions (Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Finance, PMO, Marketing, etc.) and the broader Lactalis North America Purchasing organization. The focus of this position will be primarily in support for yogurt -related co manufacturing activities in the United States.

  • Develops local /regional sourcing strategies for the Category managed, using detailed analysis of historical & current spend data, combined with sourcing and research of new suppliers.
  • Achieve budget objectives by identifying, developing and supporting North American sourcing strategy initiatives for the assigned Category or the North American Sourcing.
  • Leads the implementation, and management of the strategy for Category, making sure the needs and specifications of each Business Unit are considered.
  • Take ownership of the bid process, through in-depth knowledge and analysis of key cost drivers, qualify vendors, tender, negotiate, implement, and manage all contracts related to the category.

The Role: Make an Impact

The Graduate Sustainability Intern will help implement Lactalis US Yogurt's (LUSY) sustainable agriculture strategy to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in alignment with science-based targets. This role will focus on measuring farm-level carbon footprints and supporting the adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices that increase soil carbon sequestration and reduce emissions from enteric fermentation, manure management, feed production, and energy use. This will include collecting and analyzing data, engaging with farmers, and contributing to outreach and research efforts. This role will also offer valuable experience in sustainable agriculture and data management across LUSY and Stonyfield Organic's diverse milk supply. Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Create summary & individualized result farm carbon footprinting reports for farmer facing audience.
  • Support Stonyfield direct supply farms with adoption of climate smart agricultural practices across one or more strategic areas of action. This could also include conducting soil sampling to help expand the baseline data on soil carbon levels for Stonyfield direct supply farms.
  • Lead projects on nature, water or workforce development, for the full Lactalis US Yogurt milk supply. This includes organic, conventional, and non-GMO milk sourced for Brown Cow, Siggi's, Green Mountain.
  • Conduct literature reviews and outreach to researchers on relevant topics including efficacy of biochar, agroforestry, and feed additives to reduce enteric fermentation as pathways for reducing organic dairy farm GHG emissions.
  • Assist the Lactalis US Yogurt sourcing and sustainability teams with other projects related to organic transition planning for prospective Stonyfield direct supply farms, organic training, and sustainability in other agricultural ingredient supply chains.

The Neuroscience Sales Specialist, has overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. The sales specialist is responsible for understanding and identifying customer needs, aligning marketing resources and supporting pull-through activities. They are also accountable for embodying and communicating Intra-Cellular’s corporate vision of improving the lives of patients suffering from neuropsychiatric disorders.

The Neuroscience Sales Specialist will develop superior product and disease state knowledge that allows them to compliantly engage in in-depth clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals. Additionally, they will have responsibility for the creation of local strategic and tactical plans, differential resource allocation, and accountability for effective application of budget and expense management within their assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Following compliance guidelines, drives sales performance to ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded within assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in-person and virtually.
  • Effectively uses assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives. Customizes discussions and client interactions based on customer’s needs in a compliant and ethical manner
  • Maintains current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers. Routinely shares such information with relevant internal Intra-Cellular stakeholders.
  • Provides input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region. Identifies and selects programs/resources available and appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.
  • Works with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives. Capitalizes on formulary approvals and other business opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan.
  • Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and sharing of best practices.
  • Accountable for providing timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
  • Effectively inform and build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources and products.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, or business to business sales, or recently transitioned from Active-Duty Military
