A well-established New York law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with a minimum of 3 years of complex commercial litigation experience, preferably involving real estate-related matters and construction disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and arguing motions
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Managing all phases of discovery, including document production and review using e-discovery platforms
  • Preparing witnesses for hearings, trials, and arbitrations
  • Participating in trials and evidentiary hearings
  • Negotiating settlements and assisting with client resolutions

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of complex commercial litigation experience
  • Experience with real estate and/or construction litigation preferred
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of New York civil procedure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
