  • The APP may be asked to see emergent consults in the ED and when appropriate treat conditions within the scope of the APP's practice and experience. Communication of complicated surgical emergencies and appropriate preparation for surgery will also be expected.
  • Assist with inpatient daily rounds as assigned. This can include insertion/discontinuing central lines including but not limited to chest tubes, arterial lines, wound dressing changes, bed side procedure, insertion of temporary dialysis catheters daily physical exams, and addressing any concerns of the patients on the service.
