The Registered Nurse in Neuro Surgery is accountable for utilizing the nursing process. safety and efficiency. Requires flexibility and dependability. Responsible for the care of the patient in the intra-operative phase of care. Strong patient advocate focused on patient safety and efficiency.
Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Three years of nursing experience is required and two years of advanced practice is preferred.
Certification by a national nursing body is recommended.

Prescriptive authority is required.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
5 years experience in Human Resources, HRIS, or an equivalent field can substitute for the Bachelor’s degree.
