Bilingual-Manufacturing Supervisor - Second Shift
Schedule – Monday through Thursday 3:45PM – 2:15AM
Summary:
American Surgical Company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manufacturing Supervisor – Second Shift to lead production execution and team performance within our regulated medical device environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating second-shift operations, developing and supporting manufacturing associates, and ensuring consistent achievement of safety, quality, and delivery expectations through strong floor presence, clear communication, and disciplined execution of standard work.
This position also serves as the primary second-shift operations contact for support coverage in Quality, Facilities/Maintenance, and Materials, ensuring timely coordination, issue resolution, and effective shift-to-shift handoffs that maintain production flow and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring proven people leadership, sound decision-making, and a track record of driving performance and accountability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead second-shift production execution across assigned areas to deliver safe, compliant, on-time output through strong floor leadership and clear daily priorities.
- Execute the daily production plan by assigning labor, coordinating equipment/resources, monitoring constraints, and adjusting schedules to meet demand.
- Drive shift performance by reviewing key production metrics and implementing corrective actions to close gaps and sustain improvements.
- Coach and develop associates through day-to-day leadership, feedback, recognition, and consistent accountability, including corrective action when needed.
- Serve as the primary second-shift operations contact for support coverage in Quality, Facilities/Maintenance, and Materials, coordinating priorities and response to maintain production flow and compliance.
- Triage and resolve shift-level issues (quality events, material constraints, equipment/facility interruptions); document actions taken and escalate complex issues to the Senior Manufacturing Supervisor as appropriate.
- Ensure effective shift communications and handoffs by communicating status, risks/constraints, and open actions to day shift leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Maintain compliance and audit readiness by reinforcing OSHA, GMP, ISO 13485, and cleanroom requirements and ensuring accurate production/time documentation.
- Maintain equipment readiness through basic troubleshooting and coordination with Facilities/Maintenance for preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Promote continuous improvement through standard work discipline, 5S/visual management, training effectiveness, and reduction of variation and waste.
Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and motivate hourly manufacturing teams; drives accountability, engagement, and consistent execution.
- Strong production execution and labor planning skills; able to prioritize work, manage constraints, and maintain flow on second shift.
- Metrics-driven; able to interpret production KPIs and drive timely corrective actions and sustained improvements.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience in medical device production and cleanroom environments preferred; experience in regulated manufacturing (ISO and/or GMP) preferred.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a must.
Language Skills:
- Must be fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate technical information clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a must and may be beneficial for effective communication in a diverse manufacturing environment.

- Maintain and support production equipment
- Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives across plant manufacturing operations

Position Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer – Process Planning plays a critical role in developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes for high-precision products. This position drives efficiency, improves product quality, and supports on-time delivery by translating product designs into effective, repeatable manufacturing processes. The role collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to maximize throughput, schedule attainment, and overall manufacturing performance.
Essential Functions
- Review product designs to ensure manufacturability, appropriate tolerances, quality requirements, and cost efficiency.
- Define and document manufacturing processes required to produce components and assemblies.
- Identify, design, or procure fixtures, tooling, and gages required for new and existing products.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing routings and bills of material (BOMs) within the ERP system.
- Review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and update process documentation as required.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineers, design engineers, quality personnel, supervisors, and machine operators to improve shop-floor productivity and product quality.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action activities related to quality or process discrepancies.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, including a strong understanding of workholding and machining principles.
- Working knowledge of general machine shop practices and precision measurement techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD/solid modeling and familiarity with drawing standards, GD&T, and dimensioning practices.

The Technologist performs specialized production duties to maintain and monitor the health, production and physical environment of animals within isolators, micro-isolator cages or barrier rooms. Provides training to departmental staff on all technical skills and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Has substantial understanding and knowledge to perform husbandry tasks, including supplying food, bedding, water and environmental enrichment.
Proficient at maintaining rat and mouse colonies, including setting up matings, weaning and sexing of offspring, genetic sampling of animals, processing samples and other technical tasks as required.
Proficient at handling rodents (mice and rats), including restraining of animals for collection of fecal pellets, ear/tail sampling as well as tagging animals for identification.
Has substantial understanding and knowledge to observe animals for any abnormalities or common health issues.

We are seeking a high-energy, goal-oriented Claims Resolution Specialist to join our growing team in Andover, Massachusetts. Under general supervision, the Claims Resolution Specialist performs a variety of professional duties in support of IWP’s pharmacy services. This position is responsible for expediting payment from workers’ compensation insurance carriers, monitoring electronic billing rejections, and maintaining accounts receivable. This is a phone-based position, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

- Monitor electronic billing rejections and take appropriate action
- Ensure proper filing of invoices and monitor billing statuses less than 60 days outstanding
