In your role as Sr. FPGA Verification Engineer, you will own the FPGA integration and test environment for multiple airborne products including their test benches & simulation, continuous integration, timing analysis, elemental analysis, and build. You will develop DO-254 compliant processes for peer review and testing, perform qualification of relevant design and verification tools, and develop strategies for efficient verification of the product. As a Systems Safety Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Systems & Safety team and will report to the Systems & Safety Manager. The Systems & Safety Team is responsible for architecting systems which support novel safety-critical functions, establishing development methodologies for new technologies, and comply with the federal regulations.

As part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to expanding the aircraft's operational and functional capabilities. Your professional experience in aircraft and system safety will further strengthen the team's ability to meet rigorous expectations of stakeholders and certification authorities. You will collaborate with members from other groups within Reliable Robotics to ensure the safety of new and novel systems necessary for unmanned aircraft operations.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Systems Safety Engineer you will contribute to the development and architectural design supporting the delivery of prototypes and certifiable safety-critical flight systems in a dynamic start-up work environment.

You will have these responsibilities:

• Apply systems safety methodologies as defined by industry standards

• Develop new processes / methodologies used to certify autonomous / remote operations

• Perform safety activities in coordination with design, development and verification of aviation systems including: Generate safety artifacts such as FHAs & Safety Assessments for aircraft, systems and equipment. Generate reliability or testability assessments to support safety activities. Validate safety requirements in collaboration with systems teams. As a Harness Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the system integration team and will report to the System Integration Engineering Manager. The system integration team is a small group of highly motivated engineers designing, integrating, testing, and flying advanced mechanical and electrical systems. The harness engineer is a very cross-functional role at the convergence of the avionics, mechanical, integration, and production teams, with significant hands-on work designing, building, integrating, and testing our harnesses, enclosures, and mounting hardware; expect to broaden your design and application experience.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Harness Engineer you will work with the avionics, mechanical, and integration teams to define the harnessing design, including routing, component selection, and manufacturing and integration processes. You'll be responsible for the detailed design of both flight and test harnesses, and you'll be working with the production technicians and A&Ps to get the harnesses built and installed on the aircraft. You'll have the opportunity to design, install, and test your hardware on a remotely operated aircraft, and you'll be an instrumental part of how our hardware teams come together on the airplane.

Basic Success Criteria

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience

• 2+ years experience in electrical harness design

• Ability to route harnessing (both in CAD and physically in the airplane) in a strategic manner

As a Sr Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will lead development of electrical components and sub-systems across our airborne and test platforms from the circuit-board level up through integrated systems and everything in between.

In your role as Sr Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies at the circuit board through integrated electro-mechanical level. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing and test engineers as the expert on your hardware. You will drive improvements to the hardware through benchtop, environmental, and on-aircraft testing, and perform root-cause investigations to characterize, document, and rectify anomalous behavior in a safety-critical environment. As a Senior Flight Test Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Flight Test and Integration team. The Flight Test and Integration team is responsible for multiple installation and test efforts at Reliable Robotics. The team regularly ensures the proper function of mechanical, electrical, and flight control systems onboard the aircraft. In addition, this team has ownership over all ground and flight test operations within the organization. The team is composed of individuals with experience developing experimental and certification products.

Responsibilities

In your role as Senior Flight Test Engineer, you will verify the function and capabilities of modified flight control systems, for a remotely operated autoflight system. You will ensure the proper build-up of functions and capabilities, beginning in the lab and ending up on the vehicle. You will be expected to verify the end-to-end functionality of the system and ensure the ability to assess all desired test requirements. This will require engaging with many teams throughout the organization and having a firm understanding of the vehicle's capabilities. As part of the flight test campaigns, you'll act as the responsible engineer for the vehicle and often as test director.

As a Sr. Harness Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Vehicle Design and Integration team and will report to the Vehicle Design and Integration Engineering Manager. Responsibilities

In your role as Sr. Harness Engineer you will work with the avionics, mechanical, and integration teams to define the harness architecture, including routing, bulkhead planning, and manufacturing and integration processes. You'll be responsible for the detailed design of both flight and test harnesses, and you'll be working with the production technicians and A&Ps to get the harnesses built and installed on the aircraft.
