Summary: This position is responsible for managing the receipt, documentation, and storage of incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy through the inventory management system and staging inventory for daily production.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with company safety, environmental and operational policies and procedures
  • Unload shipments from inbound trucks and package delivery services
  • Verify shipments are in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received. Provide essential documentation to Assistant Plant Manager
  • Store all parts in the appropriate warehouse area after they have been received
  • Pull inventory from the warehouse and stage it at designated plant locations for daily production requirements
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts

Work Environment: The work environment is an indoor factory with occasional outdoor work to meet delivery/shipping vehicles and/or retrieve inventory from adjacent storage areas.

Physical Demands: The position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling and lifting for prolonged periods of time. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Education, Experience and Key Competencies:
