Inova Health is expanding our Women's Health services and we are seeking an outstanding OB/GYN physician to join us at Inova Women's Hospital within Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. This versatile position includes working as primarily an OB Hospitalist / Laborist OR as an Obstetric Emergency room physician (preferences will be accommodated as much as possible).
These two roles are separate but will cross cover each other on different shifts as the need arises. The ideal candidate will be a more seasoned candidate, and a great team player. Opportunities exist for working with multiple OB/GYN professional teams including Maternal Fetal Medicine providers, private practice providers as well as both medical students and residents.

OB Hospitalist/OB ED Physician Job Responsibilities:
• Physicians in this role function as OB Laborists and cover the Obstetric Emergency Department
• Labor and delivery care on our 33 bed Labor and Delivery Unit
• Work directly with Inova's employed OB/GYN physicians to manage their patients
• Certified Nurse Midwife supervision
• Emergency obstetric care in a 13 bed Triage/OBED which accepts patients at any gestational age and up to six weeks postpartum with obstetric complaints
• Inpatient practice
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN.
• Experience: successful completion of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
• Payor Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor

Job SummaryPatient Transporter Facilitating Internal Hospital Patient Moves
Summary: Responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment and patient-related items to their destinations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Properly and safely transports patients, secures IVs, drainage tubes, etc., and secures patient.
- In accordance with the transportation of patients, uses wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to carry out the essential duties of the position.
- Demonstrates competency in transporting all specific age groups.
- Ensures the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients to their destination using the proper requested equipment.
- Communicates effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians or reception and dispatch.
- Ensures the comfort of the patient by being attentive. Offers blankets, checks modesty and only engages in appropriate conversation involving patients. Never transports patients in severe pain.
- Alerts nursing staff immediately to any signs of patient distress or equipment malfunction.
- Maintains equipment and reports equipment needing repairs.
- Complies with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state and JCAHO.
- Adheres to facility confidentiality and patient's rights policy as outlined in the facilities HIPPA policies and procedures.

As a newborn hearing screen technician, you will provide hearing screens in the hospital after a baby is born. You will work on-site at one or more hospital locations to screen newborns for hearing loss. At Pediatrix, you will receive on-the-job training. This includes annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology. Responsibilities
On a typical day, you will conduct newborn hearing screens, usually in a new mom's hospital room, and help educate parents about the importance of the screen using video and printed tools we provide. You will also be in charge of entering patient data and validation of hearing screens, as needed. Additional responsibilities may include helping to confirm or reschedule outpatient appointments, following up on any equipment issues and training new staff.

The leader will be based at our new, state-of-the-art Inova Schar Cancer Center, which is a 340,000 square foot facility offering an award-winning architectural and patient experience environment with all aspects of cancer care included under one roof. This includes a 60-chair infusion unit, a robust clinical research operation, bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy clinics and laboratory, as well as a radiation oncology department with all available modalities, including the only proton radiation facility in Northern Virginia. Minimum Qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants: Minimum 1 year of full-time experience (as a NP or PA) in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (required)
- Experience in treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (required)
- Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), Preliminary reads on EKGs, and X-rays (required)
- Physician Assistants: Master?s degree and NCCPA Certification is required

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking motivated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with adult and pediatric experience, to join our expanding team in our West Springfield, Lake Ridge and South Alex centers
- Provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.
- Treat minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting.
- Assess and recognize more serious conditions and direct patients to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.
