The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for the preparation, analysis, and filing of external financial reports for a publicly traded manufacturing company. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal controls under SOX, while supporting accurate and timely financial disclosures. The position partners closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and related disclosures
- Assist with the preparation of earnings releases, footnotes, MD&A, and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and company accounting policies
- Research and document accounting guidance for new or complex transactions, including revenue recognition, inventory, manufacturing costs, leases, and fixed assets
- Support the quarter-end and year-end close process, including consolidation and financial statement tie-outs
