- The Product Manager for Research & Discovery is responsible for turning ambiguous business needs into clear, validated, and estimate-ready problem definitions
- This role runs discovery, maps cross-channel journeys, identifies constraints, and produces the "Discovery Packet" required for IT to provide accurate estimates and for leadership to make investment decisions.
- This is a hands-on discovery and research role, not a delivery role and not a people-management role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert vague business problems into fully defined opportunities with customer + business + regulatory framing.
- Produce "shovel-ready? Discovery Packets to support IT estimation, capital requests, and strategic prioritization.
- Works with the Senior Manager of Product to create ROI models (when needed)
- Translate scattered backlog into strategic themes.
- Research & Validation Leadership
- Lead customer research: interviews, usability tests, concept validation, and prototype creation/feedback.
- Leverage call center data, QM analytics, and operational insights to validate root causes.
- Works with Senior Manager of Product to identify regulatory constraints affecting the solution space.
- Product service blueprints, journey maps, business rule definition and low-fidelity prototypes.
- Stakeholder & Scope Management
- Aligns with Domain PMs to understand end-to-end journey impacts and constraints early.
- Works with Domain PMs to define MVP boundaries and ensure IT estimates are based on realistic, validated scope.
- Ensure all discovery artifacts are aligned before transitioning work to estimation or execution.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5+ years in Discovery, UX Research, Product Strategy, and Service Design
- Strong skills in blueprinting, journey mapping, and early-stage prototyping
- Ability to translate user needs and operational insights into business value.

The Senior Manager of Trade Marketing is a vital role within the Naturium marketing team. This position is responsible for developing and executing innovative omnichannel go-to-market strategies that will enable Naturium to breakthrough the highly competitive beauty environment. It is essential this candidate demonstrate key cultural practices of growth, positivity, honesty, curiosity, innovation, speed, agility and collaboration. Peer collaboration is extremely important as this pivotal team member needs the collective support of the Naturium brand, creative, media and sales organization to support their strategic vision. Responsibilities:
- Global Trade Strategy: responsible for partnering with Senior Manager of Trade Marketing to develop and execute the global trade strategy with a focus on how to be best-in-class animators with key trade partners in the US, UK, CA, Australia and more
- Retailer trade plans: responsible for developing high impact trade plans at key retailers that breakthrough the highly competitive retailer digital and POS ecosystems
- Go to market: responsible for partnering with Sr. Manager Trade Marketing, brand marketing, and sales leads to guarantee the perfect execution of all trade animation
- Brand investment: collaborate with sales and media team to manage a clear vision of brand investments and ROI with retail partners

- 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, shopper marketing, or omnichannel go-to-market strategy, preferably in the beauty, skincare, or consumer goods industry.
- Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven success in developing and executing retailer-specific trade strategies across digital and physical retail environments.
- Experience working with key mass and specialty retailers (e.g., Target, Ulta, Amazon, Boots, Mecca) in the US and international markets (UK, Australia preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate omnichannel marketing programs (retail, digital, in-store merchandising, POS).

The base salary range for this role is listed above. Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.'s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals. This role is central to pipeline growth, brand presence, and building a scalable marketing function, partnering closely with Sales and executive leadership to drive measurable business outcomes.
REQUIREMENT: Hybrid role with 2โ3 days per week on-site in Carlsbad, CA.
What Youโll Do Own Marketing Operations: Execute SEO, SEM, content creation, webinars, and demand generation campaigns while ensuring measurable ROI and pipeline impact.
Demand Generation & Paid Media: Build and manage paid search and display campaigns, landing pages, ad copy, and CAC guardrails.
Content & Thought Leadership: Translate subject-matter expertise into lead magnets, case studies, videos, eBooks, and whitepapers.
Event Marketing: Turn events into meetings and opportunities through pre-booking, on-site capture, and post-event follow-ups.
Marketing Ops & Analytics: Manage attribution, forms, routing, enrichment, personalization, and dashboards to optimize performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and executive leadership to align campaigns, messaging, and pipeline objectives.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to marketing workflows, systems, and campaign strategies.
Leadership & Influence: Act as the marketing authorityโcommunicating clearly, driving outcomes, and building credibility while laying the foundation for a future marketing team.
The ideal candidate is a marketing professional with B2B SaaS startup experience, ideally having reported directly to the Head of Marketing.
