Responsibilities
In your role as a Radar Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing phased array radar systems and developing radar processing algorithms to enable short, long range object tracking, and radar image generation. You will be involved in all phases of development from conception to production, designing your algorithms in Matlab, Python, and implementation in C++ on the target hardware. You will drive the system-level requirements of the phased array radar system, and drive trade studies collaborating with the cross functional teams. Responsibilities
As a Flight Software Test V&V Engineer on the Simulation and Test Systems team, you will be instrumental in testing and deploying autonomous aircraft software. The Simulation and Test Systems team architects, builds, and maintains the hardware and software infrastructure necessary to verify aircraft performance prior to flight testing. Your responsibilities include verifying flight software functionality across diverse integrated test environments, such as software-in-the-loop (SIL), hardware-in-the-loop (HITL), and on-aircraft testing. As a Sr Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will lead development of electrical components and sub-systems across our airborne and test platforms from the circuit-board level up through integrated systems and everything in between.
Responsibilities
In your role as Sr Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies at the circuit board through integrated electro-mechanical level. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing and test engineers as the expert on your hardware. You will drive improvements to the hardware through benchtop, environmental, and on-aircraft testing, and perform root-cause investigations to characterize, document, and rectify anomalous behavior in a safety-critical environment. You will contribute to continuous improvement of the team's development processes and practices through technical leadership.
Basic Success Criteria
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of full-lifecycle hardware development experience in a professional environment
Experience developing and simulating complex and manufacturable printed circuit board assemblies using tools such as Altium Designer and SPICE
Ability to work within a team, including excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to methodically diagnose, document, and solve electronic hardware problems
Preferred Criteria
Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
Experience with aviation development assurance standards (e.g. RTCA/DO-254 for Level A/B items or equivalent)
Experience designing electronics to meet rigorous environmental standards (aerospace, military, automotive, or harsh industrial)
Deep expertise in high-speed digital design, mixed-signal design, RF design, and/or power electronics design
Proficiency with Python and/or MATLAB for analysis, data review, and test setup scripting

As a Sr. Flight Guidance Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control team. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of the guidance system, and your work will enable the integration of uncrewed aircraft into the National Airspace System.
Responsibilities
Define guidance system capabilities and requirements in collaboration with operations and pilot teams
Design guidance system features to integrate with flight control systems and pilot displays
Implement flight guidance algorithms in simulation and flight software
Reduce and analyze simulation, lab, and flight test data
Evaluate guidance system performance and behavior via simulation, hardware-in-loop, and flight test cases
Basic Success Criteria
MS in aerospace engineering, robotics, or equivalent field
8+ years professional experience developing guidance or motion planning algorithms for real-time vehicle systems
Professional C/C++ and Python software development experience
Excellent ability to communicate system behavior to end users
Preferred Criteria

Our Flight Software teams are deeply involved in all aspects of the development and certification of the Reliable Robotics autonomy stack, and play a central role in bringing our aircraft to life.
Responsibilities
In your role as Flight Software Engineer, you will develop highly deterministic C++ software in a bare metal environment that works with sensors & control systems, robustly handles system faults, and integrates with other vehicle subsystems. You'll drive requirements and implement excellent unit tests. You'll also have the opportunity to work directly with flight hardware in the lab and on the plane, plan flight testing, and watch your code fly an aircraft.

As a Lead Test Pilot you will have a senior leadership role within the flight operations team at Reliable Robotics. You will provide direction to the team, and be a leading voice to help guide the development of our safety enhancing technology. You will work in a highly collaborative environment and coordinate with multiple engineering teams across the company to develop and execute flight test plans.
Responsibilities
In your role as Lead Test Pilot, your primary role will be to lead a team of highly motivated flight test pilots and engineers. You will also be responsible for developing and safely executing flight test plans in support of research and development efforts, and will fly the aircraft in both onboard and remote configurations. You will coordinate the training and scheduling of contract pilots, and help to ensure that all aspects of experimental flight operations are set up for safety and success. You will coordinate with Reliable's Part 135 airline operations to support standardization of pilot procedures across the organization. Throughout the development process, you will be instrumental in the execution of flight tests, data reviews, and proper operation of the system.
Basic Success Criteria
FAA Commercial Pilot ASEL with 1500 total flight hours, including at least 500 fixed wing and 500 turbine engine
Experience performing a secondary skillset while piloting (e.g. tactical aircraft, firefighting, cropdusting, SAR, ISR, law enforcement, etc.)
Current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher
2+ years of experience in an aviation leadership role
Preferred Criteria
Graduate of an SETP recognized flight test school
Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline or equivalent industry experience
Recent Caravan or PT6A experience
Diversity of experience in multiple aircraft/ airframes
CFII or military flight instructor
Experience with automated and/or large remotely operated vehicles (UAS, spacecraft, etc)
Experience working in a Flight Test program focused on Certification
Experience in developing flight procedures, training curricula, and safety management systems
Experience flying for a 14 CFR part 135 or 121 Air Carrier
Deep understanding of FAA certification processes and their implementation
In depth knowledge of systems engineering processes and principles
Basic familiarity with software programming principles
