Primary Duties: 

  • Provides evaluation services including review of pertinent historical information, performance of specific assessments, and determination of recommendations and documentation of results. Job Description

The Physician Assistant provides high quality medical care to the patients of Upper Chesapeake Medical Center for our general surgery practice. Performs Patient History & Physical Examinations. Evaluates the medical status of general surgery patients. Writes orders under physician?s supervision. Documents findings on appropriate designated forms. Assists surgeons in the OR.

Qualifications

Education

  • 4 year / Bachelor?s Degree: Physician Assistant (Required)
  • Master?s Degree (Preferred)

Certification / Licensure / Registration

  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • HCCPA Re-certification exam every six years (Required)
  • Physician Assistant (Required)
  • Registration from Maryland State Board of Physician Quality Assurance (Required)
