We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hospitalist/Laborist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient care, managing patient assessments, and coordinating treatment plans in a hospital setting. Applicants must provide efficient, cost effective obstetrical care and gynecological care using evidence based medicine. Evaluates patients in triage on Labor & Delivery or Emergency Department admitting patients when needed. Managers and delivers Obstetrical patients.
*Duties*

*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree required.
* Licensed in the state of California as an OB/GYN.
* DEA Certification required.
* Prior experience as an OB/GYN preferred. (at least 3 years experience)
* Ability to demonstrate excellent independent judgment, problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills in order to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, providing patient centered leadership and direction.
* Must have the emotional intelligence that may include, but not limited to, patience, sensitivity and the compassion to work with patients that may be stressed, anxious, and difficult.
* Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.

*Responsibilities*

Qualifications:
- Experience working in an academic medical center or specialty cancer center that delivers both clinical and translational research serving the adult oncologic patient
- Be well versed in the state of cancer care and the latest research and innovations
- Academic record consistent with appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor (at the minimum)
