Position Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and clinical support within the outpatient primary care setting. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed provider, the LPN assists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse and underserved populations.

Registered Respiratory Therapists provide evidence-based clinical care to some of the most critically ill patients in the United States. Caring for adult, pediatric and/or neonatal patient populations, Registered Respiratory Therapists evaluate, treat and care for patients with a wide range of lung diseases and respiratory disorders, such as asthma, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, emphysema, COPD and lung cancer. Registered Respiratory Therapists also perform other duties such as IV insertion, ECGs, peripheral phlebotomy and more.
This role provides an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work with a multidisciplinary team collaborating with Registered Nurses and other caregivers to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care.
A caregiver in this position works night shifts from 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. with weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
* Provide assessment, treatment, care and evaluation to patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
* Direct respiratory caregivers for delivery of care.
* Implement and monitor patient care plans.
* Assess patients for the appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop, implement and monitor patient care plans.
* Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
* Perform advanced respiratory care modalities, evaluate respiratory practice, administer medications and treatments, and perform blood gas puncture and analysis.
* Educate patients and families about the illness and provide information about community support groups and other programs.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
* Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
* Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board Licensure
* Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through American Heart Association (AHA) and/or Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification when appropriate for site.
* Diploma and/or transcripts must be provided
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
* Prior experience in critical care
* Bachelor's degree
* Neonatal/pediatric experience
* Prior experience performing invasive procedures preferred when appropriate for site.

A caregiver in this position works varying shifts, which will primarily be evenings (3:00pm-3:30am / 3:00pm-11:30pm) and nights (7:00pm-7:30am), with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.
RRTs in our Enterprise Flexible Staffing Pool will float to multiple locations, and receive additional incentive pay to work at varying locations.
