Job Description
- Preparation of various general ledger journal entries.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly or quarterly reconciliations for various other balance sheet accounts.
- Completion of cash collection schedules for all business written.
- Calculate state and line of business allocations for losses, premium taxes, commissions, and other expense accounts.
- Assist in the calculation and reporting of liability treaty reinsurance amounts.
- Process Concur payments for various Reinsurers.
- Prepare Ad-hoc reports in excel as needed.
- Prepare other reconciliations as assigned.
- Providing additional support with special projects or Audit requests.
- Demonstrate commitment to Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent insurance-related work experience is required.
- Minimum of one year experience in accounting/finance or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven critical thinking skills that demonstrate analysis/judgment and sound decision making with focus on attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and deal with multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong computer skills, including 2010 Microsoft Office, as well as accounting/GL software (EAS preferred).

Responsibilities
GTC is looking for a VP, Investment Analyst, who will primarily support the firm's trust solutions functions. This role focuses on monitoring the firm's investment research and manager oversight efforts by monitoring global markets and risks, evaluating and tracking external investment managers, conducting multi-asset analysis, maintaining robust internal documentation and databases, and producing high-quality research tools, reports, and presentations. The Investment Analyst works closely with the CIO, Director of Research, and senior management to ensure alignment with the firm's fiduciary responsibilities and oversight role as trustee. This position demands an understanding of global capital markets, manager research processes, and multi-asset, multi-manager portfolio construction.
Job Functions
- Stay abreast of global market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks to adapt research priorities as needed.
- Help evaluate and manage ongoing relationships with outside investment management firms.
- Conduct regular monitoring and reporting on approved/core investment managers.
- Maintain internal databases on outside investment management firms to facilitate the flow of information across the firm.
- Ensure proper documentation on approved/core managers.
- Participate in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data on a variety of investment classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and real assets.
- Help drive the development of proprietary research tools, frameworks, and models for evaluating investments and asset allocations.
- Produce research notes, commentaries, and presentations with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
- Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the research team.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Solid academic and working knowledge of the financial/investment industry; working toward CFA designation preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in investment research.
- Understanding of global capital markets, investment vehicles, and manager research processes
- Strong analytical skills with experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and commercially minded senior reinsurance lawyer with 4 β 8 yearsβ post-qualification experience to join our growing Legal team.
This is a full-time permanent position based in the U.S. While our preference for the position is that the candidate will be based in our Blue Bell, Pennsylvania office on a hybrid working basis (three office days per week), we will consider a more flexible working arrangement for the right candidate.
The role will lead legal support for our US business and offers the opportunity to work on highβvalue and sophisticated reinsurance transactions, projects, as well as supporting our US business on other legal matters with the support of external counsel, where necessary.
Experience in the negotiation and drafting of reinsurance treaties is essential.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of reinsurance treaties and related contracts, including bespoke agreements to support innovative and industry leading products and solutions.
- Lead and support the negotiation of a wide variety of reinsurance transactions across the US Structured Life, Health and P&C sectors, including quota share, surplus share, excess of loss, CAT, stopβloss, longevity, mass lapse, financing reinsurance, asset intensive as well as other bespoke structures and retrocession arrangements.
- Provide strategic legal advice on transactional, regulatory, and commercial issues.
- Work with business development teams to design new structures and treaty documents based on term sheets and prepare transaction documents that accurately bind business intentions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Actuarial, Business Development, Underwriting, and Executive teams.
- Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice on regulatory and governance matters.
- Assist with due diligence queries, transaction management, and postβcompletion activities.
- Support ongoing legal risk management, policy updates, and corporate governance requirements.
- Oversee and support US compliance matters managed by the US Compliance team.
Education:
- JD from an accredited US law school with admittance to at least one US State bar.
Experience:
- A minimum of 4 yearsβ reinsurance experience gained in a reputable law firm and/or inβhouse legal department.
- Experience in P&C, Health and Structured Life reinsurance transactions.
Skills
