Job Description
Switchcraft is a U.S. manufacturer of connectors, jacks, plugs, molded cable assemblies, patchbays, and switches. Our products are used in a wide variety of industries including medical, GPS, process control, transportation, homeland security, broadcast and pro audio. We currently have an opening for assemblers at our Villa Park facility. An Assembler C performs repetitive assembly operations under detailed instructions.
$17.50/Hour
Second Shift 4- 10 hour days
3:30pm - 2:00am Monday-Thursday
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Assembles small electronic components and cable assemblies using small hand tools and presses.
  • Must be able to keep up with the pace set by the line.
  • Work is normally done while seated and tasks are repetitive.
  • Uses crimper to crimp cables to put into the connectors.
  • Tests the final products to ensure wiring is correct.

Requirements
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read
  • Must be able follow instructions given by team leader or supervisor
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Essential Requirements:

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

The Electro-Mechanic Technician performs project management duties, maintenance and repairs of all pneumatic machines and line equipment.

Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on our 2nd shift working 1:30pm to 10:00pm. Monday-Friday.Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, plan, & perform all operations necessary to install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, rebuild, & dismantle various types of complex manufacturing & support equipment with special focus on advanced troubleshooting on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, & PLCs on complex high speed packaging lines
  • Perform preventive maintenance & other proactive activities to monitor & maintain equipment condition
  • Troubleshoot and repair of Pneumatic Control Systems, Allen Bradley PLC Systems, RSLinx, Process Control Instrumentation, 3 phase (480V) Circuits, Motor starters and controls
  • Coordinate with other technicians, production personnel, engineering, management, & other stakeholders to communicate & plan maintenance activities
  • Will provide support and substitute for EMT Lead on driving production goals; this includes training, coaching, and filling in for Machine Operators as needed
  • Coordinate with equipment/service vendors for technical assistance
  • Maintain safe, clean, & well-organized work areas
  • Comply with regulatory, Keurig Dr Pepper, & departmental policies, procedures, & standards (especially safety)
  • Assist other maintenance technicians as priorities dictate, time allows, or directed.
  • Identify opportunities for maintenance or process improvement & drive recommendations to implementation or resolution

Starting pay is $80,000

Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Bachelor's in business or operations management or a related field preferred
  • 5 + years of managerial experience preferably in a retail-based industry with a customer-centric approach
  • 1+ year PharmaCann Management experience will be considered
  • 2+ years Dispensary Management experience will be considered
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve individual selling goals and metrics
  • Proven ability to drive sales results, able to analyze selling reports, identify business trends and react quickly to the needs of the business
  • Comfortable and confident in making decisions and mediating conflict within a team environment

Selected candidate should possess entry level knowledge of site grading, stormwater management, sanitary sewer design, water supply systems and basic roadway design for private and public sector projects. Candidate should be able to handle a multitude of projects for clients in both the public and private sector.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform design and analysis for civil engineering projects using approved computer programs and manual computations in accordance with the accepted design practice.
  • Work independently on design and production of construction plans, specification and cost estimates.
  • Prepare design calculations quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
  • Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
  • Perform their own CAD work.
  • Attend project meetings both internally and with clients.
  • Assist Project Manager with project administrative activities, document controls and project scheduling.
  • Other assignments as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering.
  • 4+ Years of experience.
  • PE license preferred.
  • Working knowledge and experience with state and regional regulations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MicroStation preferred.
