We are seeking a skilled and business-minded Associate General Counsel to join our growing legal team at Drury Displays, Inc. In this role, you will support the General Counsel in providing legal guidance across the organization, with a particular focus on contracts, real estate, compliance, and employment matters. This is a hands-on role that requires strong legal judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced industry. The Associate General Counsel will work closely with senior leadership, operations, and external counsel to address a broad range of legal issues that affect the outdoor advertising business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Support & Counsel: Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on commercial contracts, leases, real estate transactions, compliance, and employment law issues.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including vendor agreements, sponsorships, service agreements, and real estate leases to protect the company’s legal and financial interests.
- Real Estate & Property Matters: Assist with land acquisitions, lease negotiations, easements, and zoning/permitting matters related to billboard locations.
- Regulatory & Compliance: Support compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as industry-specific regulations such as zoning, environmental, and advertising requirements.
- Litigation Support: Work with General Counsel to manage disputes, respond to claims, and coordinate with outside counsel when necessary.
- Employment Law: Provide guidance on employee relations, contracts, and workplace policies in coordination with Human Resources.
- Intellectual Property: Assist in protecting and managing company trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property related to advertising content and branding.
