Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and
education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level
progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher
grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level.
Promotions are at the discretion of the agency.

Education Substitution:A bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement based on (1) class

border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program,
which will be completed at their home port. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this

Currently offering a sign-on bonus up to $15KJob Summary and Qualifications- Demonstrates ability to obtain quality CT images of patients. Demonstrates competence in following established scanning protocols and exercises ability to adjust protocols as required.
- Complies with radiation safety guidelines for patient and self. Appropriately utilizes Personal Protective Equipment. Always operates CT scanner safely and competently.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations. (i.e. Meditech) Ensure proper charges are entered and referring physicians orders are verified.
- Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepares examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures. Monitors inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness and neat appearance.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.
- Reviews each exam for technical accuracy (i.e. technical quality, anatomical positioning, annotation, etc.) and completes verification process in PACS.
- Assists Facility System Administrator and CT Supervisor with PACS clean up. (i.e.: unarchived images, verifications and reporting unspecified images).

Job Summary and QualificationsAs aΒ CT Technologist,Β you would operate CT equipment, to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. Job Summary and Qualifications- Demonstrates ability to obtain quality CT images of patients. Demonstrates competence in following established scanning protocols and exercises ability to adjust protocols as required.
- Complies with radiation safety guidelines for patient and self. Appropriately utilizes Personal Protective Equipment. Always operates CT scanner safely and competently.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations. (i.e. Meditech) Ensure proper charges are entered and referring physicians orders are verified.
- Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepares examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures. Monitors inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness and neat appearance.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.

Job Summary and QualificationsΒ **Currently offering a sign-on bonus up to $10K**Provides direction and assistance for employees in the Respiratory Care Department while working on a given shift. May also provide direction and oversight to one or more of the following specialty areas: Sleep Disorders Center, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, NICU, or NICU/PICU.
SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains CPR certificate.
- Maintains license requirements.
- Maintains NBRC credentials for Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Assists with planning, coordination and supervision of the Respiratory technical staff during the scheduled shift. May also provide direction and oversight to one or more of the following specialty areas: Sleep Disorders Center, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, NICU, or NICU/PICU.
- Assigns work load and monitors clinical staff on a daily basis. Documents when necessary any variations that occur from established policy and procedure.
- Develops work schedule for area of supervision. Monitors schedule on a daily basis to maximize/minimize staffing to meet patient care needs.
- Takes call, providing technical support for respiratory staff, emergency staff coverage and problem solving.
- Performs routine and emergency patient care services as needed to meet departmental needs.
- Acts as consultant for patient care concerns from staff, nursing and physicians. Acts as liaison between staff, nurses and physicians.
EDUCATION
- High School Graduate and Graduate Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Bachelors and/or Graduate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years critical care experience.
- Two years of supervisory experience in an active department or one year management experience. - Preferred
