Location/Division Specific Information: Elmira, NY – Engineering Technician II – CNC Programmer. Jabil Elmira is a manufacturing and assembly facility where employees build, test, inspect, and support the production of various products. It includes engineering, quality, materials, and production operations typical of a Jabil manufacturing site.
What will you do?
- Provides technical support for existing processes, including hands-on troubleshooting and failure analysis for milling machines, lathes, EDMs and other CNC equipment.
- Performs programing, qualification, implementation and debugging of CNC programming and functional framework for new and updated machining processes.
- Performs measurement of parts using manual gaging and automated methods.
- Uses data driven decision making for CNC program corrections and improvements.
- Participates in creation of machine requirements for modifications and new builds.
- Participates in machine selection, vendor functional acceptance, site acceptance activities, installation and qualification activities.
- Participates in cutting tool selection, custom cutting tool design, sourcing and testing.
- Participates in tool holder selection, fixture selection, fixture design, sourcing and testing.
- Performs installation, alignment and qualification of machine components including 4th and 5th axis rotary tables, integrated tool setters, touch probes and live tool spindles.

In this position, you'll ensure the Front End operates smoothly and employees have the tools and resources needed to provide incredible service to customers exiting the store. If you have an outgoing personality and are looking for an opportunity to use your leadership skills, this could be the role for you!
What will I do?
- Proactively approach customers, assist them in locating products, and answer any questions they have
- Promptly respond to assist cashiers to meet customer needs quickly and efficiently
- Monitor customer flow and traffic patterns throughout the store, manage the right number of open lanes and run registers as necessary to reduce customer wait time

Our Overnight Grocery team works behind the scenes and plays an integral part in supporting our store's daytime operations. As part of this team, you'll work closely with the crew to ensure our shelves are stocked and displays are well-merchandised. If you're a night owl who enjoys working with others to accomplish tasks within deadlines, then this position could be for you!

As an in-store shopper, you will utilize the latest technology to engage with customers through an app, shopping their orders and staging them for pickup. What You'll Do
- Utilize technology to communicate with and fulfill customer orders
- Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in fulfillment area
- Properly handle all product, including properly bagging items to reach the customer
- Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments
- Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workspace
- May be expected to carry out other customer service duties within the store, as needed, including running a register
Requirements
- Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting
- Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
