JOB SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse (RN), under the direction of the Critical Care Manager and Clinical Supervisor, provides high-quality, patient- and family-centered care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for critically ill patients, including managing conditions such as hemodynamic instability and coronary care needs. The role involves administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, developing individualized care plans, and assisting physicians with exams and procedures. The RN closely monitors patient progress, maintains accurate medical records, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN also ensures compliance with nursing standards, the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act, National Patient Safety Goals, and the American Association of Critical Care Standards.

- Performs patient assessment and documents in patient record.
- Develops an age-appropriate plan of care, which addresses physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs, in collaboration with other members of the health care team.

Campbell County Health is seeking a comprehensively trained, board certified/eligible Radiation Oncologist to join their multidisciplinary team at the Heptner Cancer Center in northeastern Wyoming.
Our ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of the latest radiation therapy techniques and a strong commitment to patient care. We seek a Radiation Oncologist committed to improving the quality of life of patients with cancer through effective and compassionate medical treatments.
The chosen candidate will join a department with brand-new Varian equipment to be installed and operational AUG 2025 including a Truebeam LINAC, Siemens Biograph PET/CT simulator, Eclipse treatment planning, MIM (AI contouring system) and EPIC and Aria for EMR. The department offers a full complement of external beam services.
Responsibilities:
- Either 1.0 FTE or up to a 4-5 day/week part-time clinical radiation oncologist
- Consult patients to explain the therapeutic options available
- Prescribe and administer radiation treatments for cancer patients
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust as necessary
- Work closely with medical physicist and dosimetrist to plan treatment options
- Ensure safety procedures are followed before, during and after treatments
- Stay informed or conduct literature research as needed on the latest advancements in Radiation Oncology to improve patient health outcomes and healthcare delivery
- Promote and shepherd innovative enterprise practices and changes in standards of care within the Radiation Oncology specialty

JOB SUMMARY
The Dialysis Technician performs a variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients within the framework of the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, performs required monitoring and duties during patient dialysis treatment. Prepares machine and solutions according to protocol. Monitors patient before, during, and after treatment. Administers prescribed treatment according to physician and nursing orders. Documents all treatment details as required. Ensures patient safety and comfort during treatment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and may require the Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) or be required to be working towards the certification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs basic patient care activities.
- Observes patients and reports unusual conditions and/or reactions to RN.
- Assists with admission and discharge of dialysis outpatients.
- Responds to patientβs needs.
- Maintains patient environment, performs routine cleaning tasks.
- Documents according to policy.
- Performs on-line routine ordering.
- Runs errands.
- Performs R.O. system start-up, shutdown and quality checks according to unit policy and procedure.
- Performs dialysis machine start-up, shutdown, operation and disinfection according to unit policy and procedure.
- Performs needle cannulation of extremity accesses and dialysis treatments on outpatients under the direct supervision of RN according to unit policy and procedure.
- Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.
- Complies with the hospitalβs Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- High school graduate or GED.
- Certifications required
- See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification Policy and Certifications/Education Requirements Policy.
- Certification
- Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician certification within 18 months of hire.
