Pride Health is hiring an Injury Prevention Specialist (Athletic Trainer) to support workplace wellness initiatives. This 13 Weeks Contract focuses on injury mitigation and musculoskeletal health, with potential for long-term growth and development.
Job Description:
- The Injury Prevention Specialist will be expected to proactively analyze tasks for potential ergonomic and safety issues, perform biomechanical and ergonomic assessments, provide first aid care to injured employees, and execute other injury prevention activities.
- The IPS will provide conservative care to injury Associates but also observe Associates performing their job task and educate them on ways to perform their tasks effectively with less stress to the irritated body part.
- Onsite IPSs will proactively observe ergonomic practices and educate associates to improve technique prior to the onset of soreness or injury.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide triage, first aid, and referrals to external medical providers as needed.
- Maintain records of all first aid care provided.
- Lead injury prevention initiatives, including awareness, education, and daily stretching routines.
- Evaluate trends in soft tissue injuries and create actionable plans to address them.
- Provide daily activity logs and monthly incident analysis to safety and leadership teams.
- Offer job placement accommodation recommendations for employees with medical restrictions.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance standard work processes and improve body mechanics.
- Spend time on the warehouse floor to interact with associates and managers, providing coaching and support.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Certified Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association or equivalent state certification.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid CPR Certification (Basic Life Support or Professional Rescuer level).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Information:

- Schedule: M-F 03:00PM - 11:30PM / 40 hours per week

As a Senior Civil / Environmental Engineer, you will work with our civil/environmental team performing technical evaluations, planning, design, and construction administration. Responsibilities:

- Leading technical efforts for planning, studies, budgeting, project cost estimating, technical management, coordination of multi-disciplinary engineering efforts, quality assurance, subcontract management and contract administration.
- Supervising staff and subcontractors to successfully deliver technical projects and build/mentor staff in the group.
- Ability to effectively communicate design concepts to clients, participating in project scoping activities and proposal presentations, and coordinating with clients to ensure an ongoing positive relationship.
- Establishing strong, productive internal collaborative relationships with senior management.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
- 12 + years of experience providing technical management of civil / environmental projects.
- Professional Engineering license with ability to obtain New Jersey license within 6 months of start date, if necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of large/complex civil/environmental projects and experience coordinating the various engineering disciplines for successful project completion.
- A strong work ethic with excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills.
- Strong team building and communications skills.
- Solid written and verbal fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel out of state.
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience preferred.

NJDEP hosts the Youth Inclusion Initiative, an exposure program aimed at helping New Jersey develop the next generation of environmental protection, conservation and sustainability leaders. The NJDEP does this through providing young adults from overburdened communities with career experience through interactive activities and the necessary pathway to achieving those careers. The Youth Inclusion Initiative involves nearly every program in the NJDEP.
Specific to the Position
Specific duties may include developing a framework that will prepare Youth Inclusion Initiative supervisors with the method and expertise to prepare youth for more in-depth interactive activities. For example, developing presentations, flyers and other youth relatable material. Further using developed materials to assist the program manager in training the youth supervisors prior to the start of the YII program. Duties may also include assisting the program manager in ensuring youth are exposed to careers in the environmental field with parallel effort to developing program improvement ideas. The applicant should be comfortable speaking with youth, supervisors, and internal and external leadership for virtual and in-person meetings. Gestational Carrier Requirements
To ensure a safe and successful journey for both carrier and baby, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Between 21–39 years old
- U.S. citizen living in a surrogate-friendly state
- Have delivered at least one child and are currently parenting
- No more than two (2) C-sections
- Not receiving government or public assistance (including Medicaid, WIC, SNAP/Food Stamps, or state-funded health insurance)
- No history of pregnancy complications (including gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, or pre-term labor)
- No history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or major depressive disorder
- Not currently taking medications unsafe for pregnancy (including certain mental health medications)
- Able to travel for medical screening, monitoring, and embryo transfer appointments
