Neuro Medicine Unit (11400) - 11th Floor
Clinical Nurse Position
The Neuro Medicine floor offers a unique opportunity for clinical nurses, and especially graduate nurses, to improve and gain critical thinking skills, assessment skills, problem solving skills and time management skills. The unit provides care to a diverse population with a specialty in neuro-medicine and epilepsy monitoring unit. In the EMU we work with physicians to induce and monitor patients with seizures. We also provide care to our neuro surgical patients offering an experience with both the medical and surgical population. Often our patients have multi-system clinical diagnosis’ providing the clinical nurse and graduate nurse with a solid foundation as they continue or as they start their nursing career. On 11400 you'll get to work with a young energetic team passionate about patient care.

Northwest HealthCare , six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.
The 6th floor is the adult surgical unit with a 52 bed capacity. There are 16 semi-private rooms. The unit has cardiac telemetry monitoring capability for 12 beds. There is a treatment room available. A surgical waiting room is located on the west end of the unit. Any semi-private room can be made private for isolation purposes or to accommodate patient requests. A wide variety of adult and geriatric patients are cared for on the surgical unit. They specialize in general, vascular, thoracic, gynecological, and urological surgery. The unit includes patients with infections, wound care and those requiring isolation. an Enterostomal Therapist is available to assist in teaching new ostomy patients, marking pre-surgical ostomy patients as well as facilitating car of patients with draining wounds or managing skin problems.

Overview
The Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine is an international leader in cancer treatment, research, prevention, education and community outreach. Division 7800 ICU is an Oncology designated 25-bed Intensive Care Unit. 10 beds designated to our oncology and bone marrow transplant patients. We provide care to critically ill patients with an oncology, bone marrow transplant diagnosis and patients that have had surgical interventions requiring ICU care. Care of high acuity critically ill patients includes high complexity interventions serving patients of the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), Oncology, and Surgical services. The presence of a multitude of services provides broad experiences for the nurse. Care is coordinated by a multidisciplinary team including oncology nurses, attending physicians, fellows, advanced practice nurses, physician assistance, case managers, social workers, spiritual care, pharmacy and psycho-social support.
Professional nursing growth and development are expected, encouraged and supported by the Nursing Resident Program (NRP) for new graduate nurses, the Career Ladder Program, Mock CODEs that are provided, a multitude of educational opportunities to sit and learn with attending physicians and educational preparation for the Critical Care Registered Nurse certification (CCRN), Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) program, and Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse Certification (BMTNC).

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Data Steward to join their team! This position is located Hybrid in Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Duties:
- Understand business capability needs and processes as they relate to IT solutions through partnering with Product Managers and business and functional IT stakeholders
- Participate in data scraping, data curation and data compilation efforts
- Ensure high quality of the data to end users
- Ensure high quality of the inhouse data via data stewardship
- Implement and utilize data solutions for data analysis and profiling using a variety of tools such as SQL, Postman, R, or Python and following the team’s established processes and methodologies
- Collaborate with other data stewards and engineers within the team and across teams on aligning delivery dates and integration efforts
- Define data quality rules and implement automated monitoring, reporting, and remediation solutions
- Coordinate intake and resolution of data support tickets
- Support data migration from legacy systems, data inserts and updates not supported by applications
- Partner with the Data Governance organization to ensure data is secured and access is being managed appropriately
- Identify gaps within existing processes and capable of creating new documentation templates to improve the existing processes and procedures
- Create mapping documents and templates to improve existing manual processes
- Perform data discoveries to understand data formats, source systems, etc. and engage with business partners in this discovery process
- Help answer questions from the end-users and coordinate with technical resources as needed

Lot Associates assist customers with the loading of their vehicles and also monitor and maintain the entrance of the store.

The Director of Advancement is a frontline fundraiser and strategic collaborator responsible for raising private philanthropic funding for the Washington University School of Medicine neurosciences community. The Director will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts from individual donors, grateful patients/families, and organizations across departments including neurology, psychiatry, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, and neuroscience (basic research).
Already one of the world's premier institutions in neuroscience for training and research, WashU Medicine has deepened its investment with the newly opened Jeffrey T. Fort Neuroscience Research Building, known as \"Fort Labs\", a spectacular and innovative hub focused on leading the brain science research revolution. The dynamic 609,000 square foot space on the Medical Campus houses one of the world's highest concentrations of neuroscientists -- joining together investigators in neurology, psychiatry, anesthesiology, neuroscience, neurosurgery, and other areas. With its sleek design, advanced laboratories and collaborative workspaces, the building fosters interdisciplinary research aimed at understanding the brain and nervous system, transforming treatments for neurological and psychiatric diseases. WashU Medicine's Outlook Magazine provides additional insight into the university's dedication to advancing neuroscience with the goal of changing the world by understanding the brain. The Director will work with a highly collaborative team of fundraisers focused on the neurosciences and will partner with key faculty to advance the vision and goals for their respective departments.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Through a highly collaborative approach, identify, cultivate, solicit, and secure major gift commitments for assigned departments and division priorities primarily from individual donors, grateful patients and their family members, organizations, and select faculty.
- Proactively partner with faculty and the prospect research team to identify new prospects, develop fundraising strategies, and engage donors who are capable of making gifts of $100,000 or more.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the research, teaching, and patient care components of assigned department and division priorities in order to effectively articulate the case for support for funding priorities.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen, leverage, and engage physicians, scientists, and volunteers in meaningful ways.
- Serve as a thought partner to the Executive Director and newly created neurosciences team to significantly increase support for the neurosciences through creative and entrepreneurial approaches.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of HIPAA.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
