As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform clinical and administrative duties in the MedStar Health Settings consistent with policies & procedures. Primary Duties:
- Adheres to MedStar Health Code of Conduct and its Compliance plan; complies with governmental and accreditation guidelines, completing all scheduled training including, but not limited to, safety, infection control, OSHA, CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation), EMR (Electronic Medical Record), general compliance, harassment, and service. Cleans, stocks, and sterilizes equipment in addition to cleaning and preparing patient rooms for care delivery. Delivers patient care consistent with policy and with high regard for patient/ employee safety and quality of care.
- Embraces new technology and use of the electronic health record. Manages patient flow with consistent and frequent communication with patients/family and genuine regard for their time and comfort. Performs other testing and care consistent with the scope of the MedStar Health practices including, but not limited to, spirometry/ PFTs, patient vitals and BMI, EKGs, vision and hearing test, splinting, and general patient care under the supervision of the medical provider. Performs patient follow up calls for lab tests, patient experience, and clinical results in accordance with policy and in a professional manner.
- Performs venipuncture and selected patient and laboratory testing (point of care); initiates care pathways in accordance with policy. Performs x-rays in accordance with medical provider orders; forwards images to the appropriate radiologist for overreads; maintains x-ray equipment and adheres to safety standards. Promotes an atmosphere of respect toward patients, families, vendors, employers, and co-workers. Communicates professionally.
- Provides care consistent with MedStar's mission, vision, and values and in a manner that engenders patient confidence and loyalty by exceeding expectations. Serves as a patient escort throughout the care process and assists in patient discharge, assuring clarity for the patient or family member(s). Supports new clinical and service initiatives; seeks opportunities to improve care and the patient experience.
- Supports other members of the team during downtime or bottlenecks in patient processing. Understands and participates in basic computer and patient intake skills at the front desk. Supports the medical provider in patient examination, testing and education. Under medical provider supervision, prepares and administers oral medications and injections limited to intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular after demonstrating competency to the Clinical Professional Development Specialist or designee.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree.
- Completion of an approved R.T. program.
- Externship in a medical or ambulatory health setting.
- 2 years of medical office experience preferred.

Provides evaluation and physical therapy treatment in accordance with agency standards the laws and regulations governing the provision of physical therapy services in the state of Maryland District of Columbia or Virginia and other regulatory requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Analyzes and documents patients and family's response to interventions. Evaluates measurable progress toward goals and revise the plan of care. Identifies and modifies underlying factors that impede progress toward goals. Submits completed admission records within 48 hours and daily records within 24 hours with a Ninety-five percent accuracy on technical audit. Recertification completed prior to recert date. Maintains caseload mix and productivity for acuity level of patients.Initiates and participates in regularly scheduled case conferences; includes all disciplines. Includes patient and family in mutual goal setting and care plan revision.Maintains effective working relationships with other departments and participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams. Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and agency in community outreach efforts. Enhances growth and development and enriches personal knowledge and skill through participation in educational programs and affiliations.Performs history and assessment related to episode of patient illness to determine the patient's habilitation/rehabilitation needs. Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others. Duties and Responsibilities

Typical assignments include:Β
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations

Education Substitution for the GL-7 grade level: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership. SPECIAL OPERATIONS CORPSMAN: CAREER DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities
Those in the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field go beyond the duties of basic Hospital Corpsman, working in austere and challenging environments while saving lives. Each of the three classifications has its own responsibilities:
Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman (SOIDC)
- Provide advanced medical care and operational services for Marine Reconnaissance, USMC Special Operations Forces and Navy Special Operations Command personnel, like SWCC and SEALs
- Engage as a team member in direct action, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense and unconventional warfare
Search and Rescue Medical Technician (SMT)
- Rescue patients and deliver emergency care from the back of a helicopter
- Perform aircrew duties and En Route Care (ERC) for routine illness and emergent patients
- Provide relief and assistance in areas ravaged by catastrophic natural disasters
- Support Search and Rescue (SAR), tactical evacuation (TECEVAC), Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC), casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) and Combat Search & Rescue (CSAR) for Navy and Marine Corps Aviation
Deep Sea Diving Medical Technician (DMT)
- Provide basic medicine and assist medics in prevention and treatment of diving related illnesses, injuries associated with deep sea diving and hyperbaric conditions
- Operate, test and repair all Navy diving equipment
- Perform underwater inspections, harbor/port/ship security inspections, conduct ordnance searches, rescue personnel, engage in special warfare and small boat operations
- Operate Swimmer Delivery Vehicle Dry-Deck Shelter system and submarine Lock-in/Lock-out systems
Work Environment
As a Hospital Corpsman, you have the most diverse range of work environments in the Navy. Your job will likely take you all over the world-and far out of your comfort zone. If you choose to go the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field route, you will work in extreme and sometimes precarious conditions. From deep-sea diving to combat missions to flying in MH-60 Romeo helicopters, you will train outside the realm of conventional military forces to prepare for any mission. You may work independent of a physician or under supervision in this program.
Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training including:
Hospital Corps A School (19 weeks) in San Antonio, Texas for training on basic principles and techniques of patient care and first aid procedures.
After A School, HM-ATF candidates track to one of three advanced training paths:
- Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman Pipeline (121 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to basic reconnaissance, airborne operations, combatant diving, demolitions, clinical diagnostics, advanced trauma skills, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), basic surgical anesthesia, basic veterinary medicine and basic dental exams. - Search and Rescue Medical Tech Pipeline (27 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to advanced fluid resuscitation, administration and management of Advanced Life Support medications, use of emergency medical equipment, rescue and recovery devices and patient handling. - Medical Deep Sea Diving Tech Pipeline (28 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to diving physics, scuba and surface-supplied air diving, recognition and treatment of diving related illnesses.
After completing your pipeline, you'll receive your first assignment. You'll go wherever you're needed, which can be anywhere in the world. Automatic promotion opportunities are available but are competitive and based on completion of pipeline.

Beyond offering access to professional credentials and certifications, Navy technical and operational training in the medical field can translate to credit hours toward a bachelor's or associate degree through the American Council on Education.
You may also continue your education through undergraduate degree opportunities like the Navy College Program and Tuition Assistance and the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
Qualifications & Requirements
A high-school diploma or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Sailor. Those seeking a position as a Hospital Corpsman must be U.S. citizens.
While no college degree is required to apply for a position as a Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field, a high degree of difficulty should be expected. Entry Requirements include:
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Normal color perception
- Pass a physical examination
- 28 years of age or younger
- U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance
In addition to strong communication, writing and arithmetic skills, you should also have a genuine interest in providing health care, along with good use of your hands and strong physical stamina.

Primary Duties:

The Nurse Practitioner will partner with the leadership team as we open additional clinics.
This position will report to the CEO and will work closely with the staff at each clinic.

- Assist with providing care planning and managing intravenous therapies.
- Follow orders of the referring physician by implementing medical therapy and treatment plans for patients seen in the clinic.

Position Summary
Registered Nurses in our Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion clinic provide independent, evidence-based care to adult patients receiving biologic therapies for chronic conditions. Working collaboratively with a small care team, the RN manages infusion sessions from start to finish, ensuring safe medication administration, close patient monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage outpatient infusion sessions for adult patients receiving biologic and immunologic therapies.
- Administer intravenous (IV), intramuscular (IM), and subcutaneous (SubQ) medications according to established protocols.
- Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and administer ordered pre-medications prior to infusion therapy.
- Safely initiate and titrate IV infusions, including performing weight-based medication calculations.
- Monitor patients during and after treatment for adverse reactions or changes in condition and respond appropriately.
- Review and interpret patient charts, treatment orders, and clinical documentation prior to administration of therapy.
- Prepare medications and assemble appropriate infusion supplies while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Document treatments, patient responses, and any adverse events accurately and in a timely manner within the EMR.
- Communicate effectively with providers and care team members regarding patient status and treatment outcomes.
- Serve as a clinical resource to support high-quality, patient-centered care in the infusion environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or eligibility for licensure in Maryland.
- Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program (BSN strongly preferred).
- Minimum of 3β5 years of recent clinical nursing experience, preferably in infusion therapy, biologic/immunologic therapy, home health, or acute care.
- Current BLS (Healthcare Provider level) certification.
- Strong IV insertion and medication administration skills.
- Experience with EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage patient care in a solo-nurse outpatient setting.
- Excellent critical thinking, time management, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient infusion services, oncology, or specialty pharmacy settings.
- ACLS certification.
Physical & Professional Requirements
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods while providing patient care.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (e.g., IV fluids and medical supplies).
- Strong adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
- Professional, calm, and supportive presence when caring for patients receiving complex therapies.
