Job Summary:

Sysco has immediate job openings for CDL-A local delivery truck drivers who have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and bringing a smile to the faces of restaurant customers in your community.

Whether you are an experienced CDL A truck driver looking for a career change or a new CDL A truck driver just getting started - we are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our dedicated team of Sysco delivery partners! Drivers will safely operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload and deliver essential restaurant supply products to valued Sysco customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• 21+ years of age
  
• Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  
• License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  
• Touch freight may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
  
• Flexibility overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require
  

Preferred Requirements:

Summary:

Assist attorney with standard paralegal services including medical record review and summary, document preparation, working with clients to respond to discovery, and fact-checking through trial preparation.

Duties:

• Draft legal documents including pleadings and motions, affidavits, discovery, files motions, etc.
• Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, requesting medical/billing records and other legal sources; provides written analysis to attorneys
• Interview clients and witnesses and prepare summaries of statements
• Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items
• Maintain docket calendar
• Assists attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings
• Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases

Requirements:

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

• Manage subpoenas to third parties from inception to the collection and organization of all required materials.
• Interact diplomatically and efficiently with corporate client personnel working collaboratively on the same cases.
• Assist responsible lawyers with their calendar management, docketing, and scheduling responsibilities.
• Communicate extensively with third parties to ensure their fulfilment of obligations to us and our clients.
• Prepare document productions.
• Organize evidentiary materials received in discovery, including elimination of duplicative materials.
• Use artificial intelligence to summarize and analyze documents, or be prepared to learn to use artificial intelligence for these functions.
• Assist in the scheduling of and preparation of materials for depositions.
• Prepare and manage templates of commonly used documents, such as representation agreements and subpoena cover letters.
• Support lawyers in all other aspects of litigation, as needed.

THE ESSENTIALS

• A bachelor's degree
• We will consider either:
• A candidate with outstanding academic credentials, strongly considering law school and seeking to gain experience in a law office environment.
• A paralegal with a paralegal certification or degree, or an appropriate combination of education/experience.
• Must have strong organizational and communication skills, excellent writing skills, the ability to draft documents, and the ability to work independently.
• Strong ability to learn new technology quickly and adapt to artificial intelligence-based technology.
