The Department of Genetics is seeking a board-eligible/certified Clinical Geneticist to join its faculty at the level of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will become part of an outstanding team of clinical care providers at the Yale School of Medicine.

The faculty appointee will provide outpatient and inpatient genetic consultations and manage patients as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, including other faculty, nurses, genetic counselors, and a dietitian. The appointee will have the opportunity to join our work to evaluate and manage the Connecticut (CT) newborn screening program by providing consultation services and participating in the advisory council. In addition to providing clinical care, the appointee will participate in teaching trainees and be part of dynamic case conferences and grand rounds. The appointee will have opportunities for collaborative or independent research, community engagement, education and awareness efforts and patient advocacy through the UDN, NORD, and other specialized programs. The Department of Genetics provides clinical care in Medical Genetics in the Yale New Haven Health System. Clinical genetics services include inpatient and outpatient consultation and care. We cover the full range of genetic disorders with clinics in general genetics, metabolic genetics, neurogenetics, cardiac genetics, and several other subspecialties. We actively work in collaboration with our state partners on evaluation and management of CT newborn screening program. We have comprehensive clinical laboratory services including on-site cytogenetics and DNA diagnostics services, which provide whole exome/genome testing. The Department sponsors a Medical Genetics Residency program leading to certification by the American Board of Medical Genetics. Admission to the Genetics Residency is directly through the Department.
The Department has a distinguished history of discoveries in medical genetics and has been a global pioneer in using exome sequencing for clinical diagnosis. As part of our commitment to patient care, the Department operates its own state-of-the-art DNA Diagnostic and Cytogenetics Laboratory, offering sequencing and diagnostic services in partnership with the Yale Center for Genome Analysis, one of the largest genome sequencing centers in the world. Responsibilities:
Preoperative Care: You will conduct a thorough medical evaluation of the patient before their procedure. Position Summary
The Executive Paralegal / Legal Assistant is responsible for supporting the General Counsel/EVP of Legal Affairs and our development and construction teams across a range of administrative, legal, corporate, transactional, and operational functions. Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Governance & Entity Management
- Coordinate annual reporting for LLCs and other entities
- Form and dissolve entities; maintain entity records

Role Description
The purpose of a Medical Assistant at Oak Street Health is to gather all necessary medical information regarding our patients to ensure providers have the most accurate information available when making healthcare decisions.
Medical Assistants (MA) report to the Practice Manager or Center Operations Specialist. They are a vital element of our model and important members of our Care Teams. Being an MA at Oak Street Health requires high levels of flexibility, energy, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. You will be expected to build relationships with Oak Street Health members. Medical Assistants will collaborate closely with their teammates to ensure an unmatched patient experience while driving clinical results. Manages and coordinates the operational and maintenance activities of the Operating Company's (OpCo) truck fleet. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Oversees the operations of the mechanic shop assuring all mechanical maintenance and repairs are performed properly and in the most efficient and economical manner possible.
- Plans, organizes, directs, supervises and evaluates the activities, programs and operations, determines and establishes priorities.
- Conducts utilization studies and evaluates the condition of the fleet on an ongoing basis; makes recommendations on the size and composition of the fleet and establishment of replacement criteria.
- Ensures that all safety regulations are followed.
- Manages, mentors and leads others in the performance of their duties in accordance with applicable laws and within company policy and procedures.
- Maintains and keeps all equipment in good working condition.
- Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs trucks, trailers and other equipment.
- Ensures that inspections and preventive maintenance are conducted.
