License and Certification: Competency to administer moderate sedation or obtained within 9 months of hire.
Current unrestricted License in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire. Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Centralized Monitoring Unit (CMU) plays a key role in supporting the safe and efficient monitoring of nearly 300 patientsβ cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status. This is a non-direct care position, ideal for a clinically skilled RN with experience in telemetry who enjoys working in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.
The RN in this role provides clinical support to a team of Central Monitor Technicians (CMTs), promotes adherence to protocols, and facilitates clear communication with inpatient care teams. This position contributes to the overall quality of care by helping ensure accurate cardiac monitoring, appropriate escalations, and consistent workflow.
Job Responsibilities:
Β· Support and coordinate the daily activities of Central Monitor Technicians to ensure timely and accurate telemetry monitoring.
Β· Serve as a clinical resource for rhythm interpretation, protocol adherence, and telemetry best practices.
Β· Collaborate with the CMU Nurse Educator to help provide training and reinforce department policies and procedures.
Β· Support smooth transitions between shifts to maintain continuity of patient monitoring.
Β· Participate in daily team huddles and contribute to unit-based initiatives.
Β· Act as a communication link between the CMU and inpatient clinical staff, promoting timely updates and coordination.
Β· Assist in reviewing staffing assignments and making adjustments as needed.
Β· Contribute to quality improvement efforts related to telemetry and monitoring workflows.
Β· Assist with coaching and guiding staff in real-time situations, promoting best practices and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications
BSN required; MSN preferred. One degree must be in Nursing.
Β· Candidates actively pursuing a BSN or MSN may be considered, with continued progress toward degree completion expected within five years.

Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization lab at Hartford Hospital is comprised of four suites, two monitoring rooms, two scrub areas, a supply room and a holding area. There are approximately 5,000 diagnostic cardiac caths performed per year and of these, 1,500 become interventions. Hartford Hospitalβs operating room provides 24-hour backup in the event that open-heart surgery is needed.
Care of patients undergoing a variety of Catheterization and Interventional procedures with conscious sedation/analgesia administration. Familiarity with IABP, cardiac drugs, and emergency care. Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective nursing care for patients/families and/or others for a patient population within a unit, service or other primary area of practice with an awareness of the episode of care. Our Nurses work in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams, focused on a patient centered care model in a richly diverse work space. Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff. The registered nurse who through knowledge and ability uses the nursing process to develop a plan of care which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family.

B7E and 7E Step Down is a fast-paced, highly collaborative teachingΒ unit serving medical patients suffering from an acute illness or injury, or experiencing an exacerbation of a chronic condition affecting one or more body systems. The unit has a strong respiratory focus but treats the full range of medical diagnoses. Β Step down servesΒ critical care patients with additional interventions including, but not limited to, cardiac drips, insulin drips, Bipap, and chronic vents.Β Β

As a dedicated Property Adjuster Specialist, you will work within defined guidelines and framework, investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property insurance claims. You will confirm/analyze coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlement in compliance with all state regulatory requirements. Property Adjuster Specialist focus on using technology and desk adjusting for a virtual first approach to inspections and claims handling. USAA also provides a company vehicle to physically inspect losses within your locally assigned territory. Field Adjusters may travel outside of their local territory to respond to claims in other regions when needed. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available.

Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of complex damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage including potential legal liability.

Supports workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.
May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.
Works various types of claims, including ones of higher complexity, and may be assigned additional work outside normal duties as needed.
