Job Overview: Role: Nuclear Medicine Radiologist Location: Near Santa Ana, California Duration: 13 weeks, starting April 21, 2025 Schedule: Day shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM On-call coverage: Weeknights: 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM the following day Weekends: 24-hour shifts, starting at 8:00 AM Saturday to 8:00 AM Monday Patient Age Range: Adult and pediatric Practice Setting: Inpatient Responsibilities: Perform various nuclear medicine procedures, including: Lymphoscintigrams Pediatric nuclear medicine studies Therapies or specialized PET scans (PSMA & Dotatate) PET/CT bone scans Heart scans Renal scans Liver scans Utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including Carestream PACS and EPIC RIS systems.
Provide high-quality care supported by a 24/7 IT team and reading room assistants.
Manage an average of 10???20 patients per day.
Requirements: Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Nuclear Medicine Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Unrestricted California medical license DEA and California RML certifications Experience: Trauma Level II experience required.
Skills: Proficiency in nuclear medicine procedures as listed above.
