• Provide inpatient consultation services in palliative care

Academic Palliative Medicine Physician

The Emory University Division of Palliative Medicine is seeking a full-time Academic Palliative Medicine Physicians to join the faculty of Emory University School of Medicine in a comprehensive Palliative Care Program which provides inpatient consultation, outpatient palliative and supportive care, and hospice care to adult patients living with serious illness in a comprehensive, interdisciplinary care model across seven hospitals and 4 outpatient clinics. • There is an expectation that the CMO will participate in providing care (whether in a clinic or ALF) for 2-3 days a week, with the remainder being used for administrative time.

Furthermore, these patients are administratively very complex to serve ? no cars, no cell phones, high levels of dementia and many with powers of attorney.
