Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.

Preparing budgeting reports and conducting forecasting activities.

Managing month-end and year-end closing activities.

Conducting detailed risk analyses and financial forecasts.

Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.

Organizing financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.

Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.

Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

Performing and coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position should possess the following qualifications: 1.
A Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A Masterβs degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
2.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger, forecasting, bank reconciliations, and variance analysis.
3.
Proven experience as a senior accountant ideally within manufacturing environments 4.
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
5.
Excellent knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations.
6.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
7.
Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
