- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
- Perform joint injections, trigger point injections, and PRP injections.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, procedures, rehabilitation, and recovery.
Administrative & Collaborative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EMR systems.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, radiologists, and primary care providers.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the NCCPA.
- Valid and unrestricted state PA license.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; ATLS preferred.
- Minimum 1?2 years of orthopedic experience preferred (new grads with strong surgical rotations may be considered).
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with EMR systems.
- Proficiency in joint injections.
- Familiarity with sports medicine, trauma, or total joint surgery a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
