Role Purpose

The PM Associate will strengthen Talley LLP’s operational and PMO capabilities by providing clear visibility into performance, utilization, and execution across professional services teams. This role supports firm leadership through data-driven insights, dashboard reporting, and project coordination, while helping scale Talley’s operational infrastructure within a time-and-billing professional services environment.


What Success Looks Like (12–18 Months)

A successful PMO Associate will:

  • Deliver accurate, actionable dashboards tracking employee performance and utilization
  • Improve leadership visibility into month-to-date, year-to-date, and budget vs. actual performance
  • Support the smooth execution of cross-functional initiatives without creating operational bottlenecks
  • Establish greater structure and discipline in operational reporting
  • Reduce friction between leadership, operations, and service teams through clear communication and follow-through

  • Build and maintain employee performance dashboards (utilization, productivity, trends)

  • Comfort working directly with senior leadership and handling sensitive data

Position Overview

The Case Administrator supports WCRG by assisting with case management and providing administrative support to the case management team, mediators, attorneys, and clients. Key Responsibilities

·       Creates and organizes case file documentation in the MyCase case management software, including initial case setup with clients, attorneys, mediators, and key deadlines for payments, mediation briefs, and signatures.

·       Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person mediations, including preparing conference rooms and managing Zoom breakout rooms.

·       Welcome mediators, attorneys, and their clients and assist with conference room or virtual room assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Manage all phases of construction defect litigation, representing developers, general contractors, or subcontractors in residential and commercial disputes.
  • Discovery: Draft and respond to discovery requests, including complex document productions involving blueprints, job files, and inspection reports.
  • Depositions: Prepare for and conduct depositions of plaintiffs, expert witnesses (engineers, architects), and site personnel.
  • Expert Collaboration: Work closely with forensic experts to identify structural deficiencies, water intrusion issues, and standard-of-care violations.
  • Advocacy: Draft and argue substantive motions (Demurrers, Summary Judgment) and attend court hearings and mediations.
  • Reporting: Maintain proactive communication with insurance carriers and clients, providing clear analysis of liability and exposure.


Requirements

  • Credentials: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license in good standing with the California Bar.
  • Litigation Interest: A strong desire to master the "nuts and bolts" of construction—you must be comfortable learning how buildings are built and where they fail.
  • Writing Skills: Exceptional research and writing skills are required for handling the dense motion practice characteristic of construction law.
  • Organization: Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment where cases involve dozens of parties and thousands of pages of technical documents.
  • Travel: Willingness to attend on-site inspections and property "walk-throughs" with experts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
