We’re looking for a detail‑driven Medical Insurance Verifier to join our team. This role focuses exclusively on insurance verification—no billing, collections, or scheduling. Ideal for someone with strong accuracy, solid payer knowledge, and a coachable mindset.
What You’ll Do
• Perform full insurance verification prior to date of service
• Confirm eligibility, deductibles, co‑insurance, copays, and patient responsibility
• Determine pre‑cert requirements and coordinate with physician offices
• Secure referrals, authorizations, and retro‑authorizations as needed
• Review daily reports and maintain zero verification backlog
• Update patient accounts with accurate benefit details
• Communicate coverage info and benefit questions with patients
• Flag denials or coverage issues to the appropriate team members
What We’re Looking For
• 2–5 years of true medical insurance verification experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced workflow
• Strong accuracy with data entry and documentation
