Overview

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for completing shipments by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area; driving truck or van to and from vendors; completing preventive maintenance requirements on truck and van; arranging for repairs; collecting stock location orders and printing requests.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments
  • Mechanically use a forklift, pallet jacks, or order- picker, using a full range of peripheral vision to operate such equipment safely
  • Place and/or pull stock from storage areas of the warehouse
  • Ensure that the wheels of all trucks being unloaded have their wheels chocked before unloading begins
  • Pick cases from bulk locations to fill forward pick locations
  • Stock forward pick locations in the bottle room and the full case line in a neat and orderly manner
  • Restock bottle and case returns from customer orders
  • Pick VIA orders for Salesmen and Customers
  • Stores out of place product, 360 product and 370 product as directed by the supervisor

Qualifications: GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.

Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.

Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.

Job Title: Quality System Technologist – Control Valve / Instrumentation

Location: Plaquemine, LA (onsite)

Pay Rate - $50/hour on W2 - $53/hour on W2

Duration - 3 months

Start Date - 5/25/2025.


Job Overview:

We are seeking a Quality System Technologist to provide quality oversight for control valve and instrumentation repairs at offsite repair facilities during a turnaround. This role is responsible for traveling to vendor repair shops to verify that valve repairs meet required standards and inspection checkpoints. The position will focus on ensuring that repair work is completed in accordance with quality requirements and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to offsite valve repair shops supporting turnaround activities
  • Verify that control valve and instrumentation repairs meet required quality standards
  • Check inspection hold points during valve disassembly, repair, and reassembly
  • Review repair documentation and inspection reports from repair vendors
  • Ensure repair work complies with project and company quality requirements
  • Communicate findings and updates to project or turnaround teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong background in control valve repair or instrumentation maintenance
  • Solid understanding of valve function, repair processes, and inspection checkpoints
  • Experience with valve inspection, rebuild, and testing
  • Familiarity with actuators, positioners, and control valve components
  • Ability to travel to offsite vendor repair facilities

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting chemical plants, refineries, or industrial facilities
  • Previous experience in QC/QA inspection of valve repairs
  • Familiarity with valve brands such as Emerson (Fisher valves), Flowserve, or Baker Hughes (Masoneilan valves)

Job Overview

The Turnaround QA Technicians act as the primary interface between contractor QC inspectors, QA Coordinators, and other members of the turnaround team. Their main duty is to monitor contractor performance in the field—helping ensure the quality of work meets plant expectations.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Spend 80% of the day in assigned areas observing contractor activities.
  • Audit contractor flange inspections for proper execution by Qualified Flange Inspectors.
  • Audit contractor flange make-up to ensure compliance with the Site Flange Makeup Procedure.
  • Audit contractor work for adherence to plant procedures, EMETL practices, and pipe specifications.
  • Spot check materials (nuts, bolts, gaskets, piping, valves, etc.) for correct installation and green PMI tags. If not PMI’ed, items must be re-verified or replaced.
  • Ensure proper material handling and storage as per G8S-6500-10 (“Welding Material Control”), G8S-6500-11 (“Materials Segregation”), and contractor’s TA Quality Plan.
  • Spot check leak detection tubing installation.
  • Validate completion of touch-up/repair painting; ensure contractor QCs are tracking repairs.
  • Assist inspectors with photos, documentation, etc., at hold or witness points as needed.
  • Verify that contractor quality checklists and reports are completed and submitted according to the TA Quality Plan.
  • Review documentation upon completion, organize field walks and sign-offs per the RTO process, and collaborate with contractor QA representatives to close punch lists.
  • Learn and verify tubing fitting assembly; ensure correct procedures are followed.
  • Cooperate with QAQC team and TACs for RTO systems/jobs; organize field walks and log deficiencies.
  • Forward documents requiring archiving to the TA documenter.
  • Generate non-conformance reports for deviations from plant or contractor practices, specifications, procedures, or TA Quality Plans.
  • Update the Quality Team shift activity log for effective communication across shifts.
  • Comply with all EH&S and LHC TA Safety Plan requirements.


Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of chemical plant and skilled craft experience
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Access)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team; good interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current, valid US driver’s license
  • Willingness to adhere to all safety policies—including smoke/tobacco and drug-free workplace
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to work within an empowered team environment
  • Familiarity with SAP, CPPS, site equipment/drawing files, and TA work processes/procedures is helpful but not required
