About the Division
:
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition consists of a dedicated team of professionals, including six board-certified pediatric gastroenterologists, one board-certified pediatric hepatologist, three nurse practitioners, five clinical nurses, and two dietitians. Our division takes pride in its ACGME-accredited fellowship program, which admits one fellow per year.
The Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition Program at Children's Hospital of Michigan is consistently recognized as one of America's best in the U.S. News & World Report rankings for Pediatric Gastroenterology and GI Surgery Programs. Our division offers state-of-the-art technology for a wide range of procedures, including endoscopy, breath hydrogen tests, pH/impedance monitoring, capsule endoscopy, percutaneous gastrostomy tube placement, variceal banding, and sclerotherapy. Additionally, we provide comprehensive motility studies, such as esophageal and anorectal manometry. Endoscopic procedures are performed at our main campus and at Childrens Hospital of Michigan - Troy. The salary range for this position is $204,498.00

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Medical Assistant
- Demonstrates ability to recognize urgent/emergent needs of patients and initiate appropriate emergency procedures as needed.

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification must be obtained within first year of employment and maintained thereafter.
- Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population serve within three (3) months of hire
