Role Description
Senior Civil Trial Attorney to handle semi-autonomous caseload with potential high exposure. Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in civil litigation handling cases from inception through appeal. First chair experience in a minimum of ten (10) jury and five (5) bench trials taken to verdict in a California State Superior Court required.
• Manage all aspects of civil litigation from case inception to verdict, including initial case assessment, discovery, depositions, motion practice, pre-trial negotiations, courtroom advocacy, and post-trial motions to ensure favorable outcomes for clients.
• Gather and organize documents, evidence, and legal research for cases, including preparation for hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
• Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents; prepare summaries and reports.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
